I think you're underestimating what some of the middle to lower tier players are getting paid (often undeservingly). I know for a fact that Tapscott is getting paid quite a bit more than what you are allowing for him there.

Add to that the fact that the club really stood by him and looked after him when his sister passed away. Luke came out and said last year (?) that he would never leave the club after everything they did for him at that time and there is every reason to believe him. Some people just like to ignore facts I guess.

He isn't going anywhere and never was, as has been said multiple times. People still want to talk about it like he is though.

The Saints are looking down the barrell and their only young, good player is Jack Steven. He's a gun and we should make a big play with him involving pick 2 if necessary.

You're right that Fitz is the most expendable of the talls but in a trade of Fitz for Savage, we'd be losing out. Good talls are a much more valuable commodity than average midfielders.

That's not a fair comparison at all. Frawley is a gun, the best defender we've had in a long, long time and one of the best full backs in the league. Colin was an underachiever, though a solid contributor the last couple of years. No one will be saying we should have traded Frawley because he will be signing an extension in the next year, no doubt.

I thought Melbourne was a big place until I visited NY earlier this year - the size of it is breathtaking. Love Brooklyn, one of the best places I've ever been.

Wouldn't mind Duigan at all, he seemed to be out of favour this season. Someone from the Blues I'd love would be Zach Touhy. Really tough in the contests and plays really well as a rebounding defender.

If I were you I wouldn't get my hopes up, that's ridiculous. We'd trade a third rounder for Savage I think.
