The footy media these days tend to have no idea until about a minute before the news breaks anyway. I don't think Freeman will be available at 9 - Collingwood are apparently keen on him with 6 but I hope he falls through. If he's not available, Sheed or Lennon could be likely types.

How much football have Demonland members played?
Little Richard replied to Nasher's topic in Melbourne Demons
I played from under 9's in the Northern Footy League, a couple of years in the VAFA and back in the NFL now just playing with some mates. I'd give anything to be able to put on the red and blue though, like everyone on here. -
They've committed to picking up Jed Lamb with that pick I believe.
-
Go and help them out instead of complaining then. We are a very low budget club, in case you've forgotten.
-
So who's on offer?
-
Damn, maybe they are thinking of leaving?
-
He'd definitely add something to the side but I'm sure if Roos wanted him, we'd be chasing him already. Maybe we are planning to try and pick him up in the PSD?
-
The saints may end up in a similar position to us in the next couple of years - too many kids and not enough experience around the 26-27 age. We didn't have Riewoldt and Jack Steven though.
-
The problem with Jamar is that he has basically no value. If a club wanted Jamar, they have a better, cheaper option out there in Jolly, who is no guarantee of getting a spot on a list next year. I suspect that we might have questioned clubs about Jamar in hope (though knowing that he won't really garner any interest), seeing as we were/are looking at Jolly.

Brisbane are going to be an absolute shambles next season with these trades and the outgoing senior players like Brown and Black. Another win for us I hope!
-
And that is very appropriate, point and shout is all he really did.
-
You've spelled out right there why he should not come back - he was never an on-field leader.
-
lol

As well as take them out to all the 'enjoyable' spots on Kings Cross.

Somebody made a good point earlier - GWS' hand were forced as Adams was not going to agree to a trade to any other club. Therefore GWS could let him walk for free or trade for Shaw, the lesser blow. Of course they could have threatened to pick up Adams in the PSD with their pick but that would be a pointless action; there'd be too much dissent between the parties and GWS would be wasting a valuable pick.

Grumpy old cynic

That's true that they are only human but with their job comes the responsibility of being a role model and a representative of their club and the AFL, as well as whatever other organisations they may be a part of or brands they may be an ambassador for. Some act like idiots and shirk the responsibility and others don't.

Yep, we just didn't want to admit it. He made a choice I'm sure many on Demonland would have made if they were in the same position (not being MFC supporters).
-
Is that genuine? I got some good snaps of Steele Sidebottom last year on Glenferrie Road in the wee hours of the morning. He was crawling along the pavement in a puddle of his own spew and Harry O was trying to get him into a taxi, good times!
-
Not sure about the logic to this. From all reports we wanted to stay in the top 10 in the draft and I don't think GWS would fancy getting pick 9 back unless they were able to on trade that instantly for a senior player. I'd say they believe they have enough kids.
-
I wonder if this will have much effect in regards to recovery for the subsequent games. It definitely looked as though it affected us this year though that might have been our usual shitness.
-
They could have played hard ball and forced Adams to walk to the PSD and then take him with pick 1 but that wouldn't really benefit anyone.
-
That's a big loss to GWS in my eyes.

Care to elaborate? -
