Controlled the game and kicked like mules to hand wc the win. Real missed opportunity. Best game we have played this season except for kicking for goal Btw the umps can go and get f.

We need to keep the intensity up for the next two quarters. Will be a massive test to see if we can be consistent for 4 quarters. We also need to maximise our is50s.

If we lose it won’t be because we didn’t pick Preuss and it’s nothing to do with feeling vindicated if we lose as u suggest. He is ready to go and showed good form last week and should be in the team. He provides great support for Maxy. It’s pretty simple.

Good to see we learn from our mistakes. FMD it shouldn’t have mattered if Hickey was in or not Preuss should have been selected.

We don’t always have to look at what the opposition are doing in the way of team selections. We can make our own moves and make them more accountable and be proactive rather than reactive. Preuss gives us something extra which is what we need regardless of what the opposition are doing. Like i said earlier we are a better team with him in the side.

We play better with him in the side imo. Gives us something different up forward and big support for Gawn. He is in our best 22.

No Preuss, so again maxy will be targeted and without proper ruck support. What happened last time we played em with one ruck!!!!!! FMD some of these selections do my head in.

Yep I would rather see Petty in and give him a good go at it like Omac has got and see what he can do. Put it this way Petty ain’t gonna be any worse that omac.

While at the game I watched Omac fairly closely and geez for his size he doesn’t play it. He just seem really low on confidence and gets pushed aside easily. He hardly ever gets front position and when he does seems to get pushed out easily. He needs to go back the the seconds and stay there until he improves. He will be eaten alive against west coast if he isn’t dropped.

Must admit the crowd was really well behaved, well where I was sitting anyway I was there with my kids and this dees supporter in frustration said F$&@ and the man next to him said no need to use that language there are kids around. I understand his frustration but it was really refreshing to hear someone pull him up on his language. It’s still something you don’t hear much of in this day and age.

Agree was a perfect winters day. Sunny and not a cloud in the sky. It may have got a bit dewy as night fell though. But they can’t use that as an excuse at the start of the game.

To me it looked like Harmes miss-kicked the ball amd was actually going for goal. Looks like it came off the side of the boot slightly when watching on tv.

Would have been more painful if we had lost spirit. Winning very very ugly is better than losing ugly.

Also TMac is dropping most marks and doesn’t play in front whereas last season he always clunking everything. He even missed the mark in the last 5 seconds in the goal square. Not sure what the players are putting on their hands but they need to stop.

I was at the game and it was horrid apart from the last 49 seconds. Effort all game was great and we tackled well but geez we cannot stop fumbling, dropping marks, missing handballs and continue making bad decisions. No one seems to know what they need to do. I think we had 344 is50s and only scored 19 times When gc kicked that goal to go 6 up I was resigned to losing but somehow someway miracles happen. For once we were on the other end of the result. Brace yourselves cause the good sides over the next few weeks are going to tear us apart

Yeah but NB was starting to hit some form for the first time this season and to drop him now doesn’t make much sense to me.

Weird selection. Jack ain’t a runner and I’m not sure how fit he is. NB was ok last week so not sure what the reasoning is. Also would have liked Preuss to come into the side if fit. How Omac survives is beyond me.
