I’m just looking forward to playing and discussing finals rather than draft picks which is what we are usually doing this time of the footy season. May it last more than one week.

I would prefer to play cats at the G rather than the hawks at the G or swans at the SCG. For that to happen we have to beat gws tomorrow. I would love to end the pussycats finals and u can his imagine the look on porkie Scott’s face. Come on Demons carry our form from last week and beat gws.

I really hope we continue the momentum we got from the WC win and continue to play for 4 quarters and not revert back to our old inconsistent ways. This Sunday’s game will tell us a lot about where our team is at heading into the finals.

Being addicted is a very hard thing to overcome. Its really sad to hear this has happened and I feel for his family too. His family would be suffering massively too. Hope he finds his way through this and comes out the other side.

Another positive is neither the cows or port Adelaide are playing finals. My neighbor is a cows supporter and an absolute [censored] of the highest order Two words I have to say is SUCKED IN. You get what u deserve.

My favourite moment (apart from winning) was at the final siren when the cameras were on Jones and the pure joy and elation on his face was amazing to see. If the Demonland mods could somehow put that part on here for all to see I think everyone would enjoy seeing it.

The best part for me was when the weagles got in front in the last and we didn’t falter we actually steeled ourselves which I hadn’t seen before and won. That is what impressed me most.

Dappa with everyone that has rung in all have mentioned how hard the last 12 years have been. I think the general footy supporters are happy for us due to the rubbish we have endured well at least until we beat their team in the finals!

Goody said that Viney should be right to go first week of the finals. Will take that with a grain of salt and see how it pans out. Tme will tell.

Love listening to SEN this morning with all the dees talk and supporters ringing up and discussing their emotions about marking the finals. Its been awesome to hear other dees supporters and their absolute joy in making the finals. It means so much to us more than others realise I thInk.

FINALLY after 12 long years of disappointment, frustration and a number of false dawns we have FINALLY made finals. Must admit I thought we would lose today and miss the finals all together but I am very happy that my gut feel was wrong. Well done boys and hopefully we make the most of it as we all know it’s been a long time between drinks.

Sorry to say but I have a sick feeling in my gut that we will lose this game and next weeks against gws and miss the finals again as the cats will smash the gcs and port will beat Essendon. It would be typical Melbourne for it to happen this way. We always seem to talk about what we need to change but when it comes to actions we r found wanting in a big way. Hope I am wrong but you get what you deserve.

When Nathan Jones was interviewed last week I think he made a comment something like “this wouldn’t stop us having him at our club”. He was referring to the Gaff punch and I thought it was odd that he would make that type of comment especially when he wasn’t asked about recruiting Gaff. Maybe it was a message to Gaff to say we will still recruit you. Who knows but I thought it was weird to make a comment like that.
