God I would love Roos to come back as a senior assistant to Goody but it won’t happen unfortunately.

Our effort is not there for 4 quarters. The thing that typifies our season/effort imo was in the second quarter (I think) Frost did the team thing and went to cover Brayshaws man and then the ball went to Reiwoldt and Brayshaw flung his arm out in an attempt to tackle then basically stood there and watched him run away and have a shot at goal which resulted in Martin getting it in the goal square and Kicking the goal. I like Brayshaw a lot but that to me was pathetic and shows the attitude of the players and why we are where we are atm. I hope it gets highlighted by the coaches in the review.

Oh I just want to say I love the umps! well done boys another smashing and consistent effort.

Mentioned it before but Weed needs to go back to the seconds. He just can’t seem to do anything atm and we are carrying him which we can’t afford.

At least goody tried something different tonight and our defence was better. Our forward line is still dysfunctional and our mids still don’t run hard enough both ways. The tigers do move the ball forward really well and run and spread hard all 4 quarters. Maybe it’s something we can learn from.

Weed needs to go back to the seconds with Omac.

No dangerous tackle on Hibberd from Martin. Thanks umps. Then a nice elbow in the head to top it off and still nothin. Umps have been hopeless but that’s not why we lost.

To be honest I am just tired of our team and how they continue to disappoint. When will it stop?????? its like the never ending story except it’s a bloody never ending nightmare. Then the club asks fans to be patient and judge us on our performances and continue to dish this up. It has to change but bloody hell it would be nice to see a premiership before I’m dead.

Don’t stress my fellow demonlanders we are on the same wins as Carlton and they are improving so all is not bad!!!! BTW when we play Carlton they will beat us.

Great summary RN. To me this season seems shot. Maybe Goodwin needs and experienced senior coach as his assistant apart from Macca Richardson now has Ratten and look at the saints. It could be part of the solution anyway.

SPEED SPEED SPEED It was an issue last season and it seems nothing has been done in the offseason to rectify it. The coaches and recruiting staff have let the let the club down and the fans down. Blind bloody Freddie could see SPEED was a f.....g issue and now we are paying for it. Every opposition team will just outrun us, hit targets, kick straight and will beat us. Another lost season. Well done MFC you continue to give back to your long and suffering supporters. My kids were excited for the first time in a very long time about season 2019 and now it’s back to the usual MFC feeling. There are only so many times you can convince your kids things will change. Time is running out.

Great to see Omac finally dropped. He needs to work on his game but needs to do it in the seconds not the senior side. Hopefully he gets into form and comes back but only when he is well and truely in form.
