I just got tickets to the Brisbane game this Sunday. I haven't been this excited about going to the footy in a loooong time. Hopefully its a good game as Brisbane are in red hot form. Go Dees

How good is it to wake up on Monday morning knowing we won and not a lucky win but a solid FOUR QUARTER win. Makes for a nice change. Bring on the lions. This will be a real test to see where we are at.

I had to look twice as I thought it was clarko smashing the desk and was pleasantly surprised to realise it was Goody.

Great win but where has this type of play been for the past 18 mths. Kicking to a team mate and hitting the target, good to finally see it. Amazing now we are doing it we are playing better.

Loved it when Viney smashed Omera in a tackle and got the free kick. Absolutely loved it.

That was actually good to watch and not all that stressful which is a nice change.

This will come down to the coach to see if he has the ability to counter it this time. No BS excuse we weren’t prepared for that style.

I just hope they are playing at either Metricon or the Gabba and not in Cairns, that way me and the family can see a few games.

How the hell do I get tickets to Metricon on July 26? I hsve spoken with MFC and they don’t know how many tickets they will get but how else can I get my hands on some?????

You watch the Hawks play keepings off just like the cats did. It will be very interesting to see if Goody react this time rather than not being prepared for it. Big test this week.

Goody has been on the receiving end of a lot of harsh words this week from me included but at least he made some moves in the game which was good to see. Small steps and will see what happens next week.

Trac had a bit of a mare tonight but that goal he kicked in the last was priceless. It also shows his maturity in that his game was below average but still had the smarts to recognise the importance of the moment and kick the goal.

The umps were horrific. One in particular when Rankine was caught cold by Langdon when he tried to run around after he marked it and the ump called it high. Should have gone to us. There were others but I can’t remember them atm.

Rankine looks like a potentially great player but lucki he cant kick a set shot. He also seems like an arrogant little [censored].

Was good to finally see the team take a bit of time and look for an option rather than just kicking or hand balling in hope. Now it needs to continue rather than a one off.

Now I am not a fan of OMac but credit where it’s due, he played well tonight. Hopefully it continues.
