I heard him say something like he was amazed at the lack of positional changes from the coaches box when we played Richmond. Hope this doesnt continue but on the evidence to date it doesn’t look good.

Well we have seen some changes in team selection now let’s hope the coach can change his game plan to suit the players selected.

I keep hearing that it should be an easy fix but its been going on for 18 months now and as hard as Goody has tried to fix it (which I struggle to see), it aint working. They had Craig Jennings on SEN this morning and he said something like he was amazed at the lack of positional changes from the coaches box when we played Richmond. The main thing for me is that its not just us frustrated Dees supporters talking about what is not happening at our club but the media, former coaches and other footy related people. If we don't see improvement this week pressure will continue to mount especially from the media.

Totally agree Dr. I have watched their games since the restart and I would be shocked if we won. They are a far cry what they used to be like unlike us unfortunately.

If that is the case then Goody truely has NFI.

If Bennell doesn’t get picked based on the below this week then Goody can pack his bags. Weid should be picked too Of course, most Demons supporters want to hear how Harley Bennell is tracking, and Egan said he was impressed with the 27-year-old’s outing. “He had really good balance in his game – offence and defence,” he said. “He used the ball really well which he always does, and I think he finished with close to 35 possessions, so he was obviously around the ball a lot. “He’s really calm and composed, and always makes the right choice. You need a game plan that suits the playing list. ATM the game plan doesn’t seem to suit the playing list. If Goody is to survive he needs to change and from what other posters have said he is stubborn, so I won’t hold my breath. Team selection this week will be interesting and give us a good indication where Goodys mindset is at.

PSD imo we need an experienced coach. We have had a fair go at a rookie coach and to date hasn’t worked. My top 2 hit list would be in order of importance 1. Clarko (prob wishful thinking) 2. Ross Lyon i would also have an assistant in Yze earmarked as a successor at some time in the future. If we continue this style with Goody I really hope the board show something and move him on at the end of the season. I know it will cost us but bloody hell if we go into next season with Goody as coach it will be horrific and we could sink even lower than in the good old Neeld days imo.

We had 72 turnovers for the game. That’s Auskick stuff Adelaide had 61 turnovers in their game. No wonder we can’t win.

I put this in the post match thread but seems to be better here. Geez it’s difficult supporting this club. They make it so hard to enjoy the footy. I wasn’t even upset or angry at the result because the MFC has conditioned me into expecting the worst and they deliver on most occasions. We are so frustrating and yet again another season lost, another season missing the finals, another season watching another team win the premiership and watching more teams go past us. Also to top it off this season we are handing over what looks like pic 2 to north. It really is frustrating and annoying to see this happen to a club I love and the worst is the nightmare doesn’t seem to be ending Sad thing is I don’t know if it will ever change.

They said on fox that teams seemed to have worked out how to beat Richmond. That’s great to hear but I bet my left nut Goody will play our style whatever the hell that is and lose again just for something different.

Would be nice if we could play 4 quarters for once.
