Thats fair Roost it explains how he could get there if it was not about money. But it is 100% about the money. I dont believe it to be true for a second, however, can I ask how is Tom able to get to another Vic club? Wouldn't that mean that Melbourne would have to trade him? If Melbourne didn't agree to trade him then he just goes in the draft and gets picked up by GWS anyway? Or am I way off the mark here?

Yeah I'm a Jones fan too. Think he does a lot of the hard stuff that often goes un-noticed. Its all about playing your role within the team.

He's the type of player I go to the footy to watch. Smart, confident in his own ability and fast becoming a player that will be able to turn a game on its head. No doubt a future all Australian and B&F winner. Shouldn’t care what the naysayers say…. But dam it feels good the stick up em!!

I don't understand why people think that we can't afford to keep scully if he was to get $600-700k. Other clubs are able to have 5 or so top line players on their list that must be on huge coin. I know that he is young to be getting that kind of money, but let's be honest he will be well worth it!

I would rather we just played the best available team in the best possible structure to win the game. Why wouldn't we use our weapons against them? So we can judge how we may line up against them in 4 years time??

No one really knows, but everyone seems to have a strong opinion on this one so was interested to see how many demons fans think he will stay and how many recon we are going to get robbed of this young star. Gut Feel.

This may be the case if he signs soon, however the longer he leaves the more it appears that he is holding the club to ransom.

One thing that I think has come out of this is that if Scully does stay a Demon he has incredibly bad management. In an era when players can essentially be their own brand, Tom's brand has taken a massive hit. I know that he said that he would wait until the end of the year and that lots of players do this, however due to no fault of his own this issue has got more and more press. This situation has changed and the AFL community is starting to turn on Tom, if his management can't see this they are not doing their job.

Petterd must come in. Tapscott and Jamar also if fit. Out goes Gawn, Evans and Jetta. Jurrah doesn't seem like the same player last couple of weeks. Not sure if it is injury but he barley seems to get off the ground.

How many wins? At our best I think we could win quite a few of these (6 of these games are against teams currently below us) The problem is we are so often not at our best... That is what she said, but i know what you mean. She was more having a go at the Ox being 98% sure he had signed already. Garry was very dissmissive of what the Ox said also, saying he doesn't know who he has been speaking to at the club because everyone he knows thinks he will stay.

I'd like the journalists who keep saying Tom Scully has signed and is going to GWS to start naming some sources!! They all have this impeccable totally reliable information yet not one of them can ever name how they know this. Andy Maher said he had it from impeccable sources on SEN that Scully had already signed. Then on before the game said to Trengove that it is probably all just AFL Scuttlebutt!!! Well which one is is Maher!!! TRUE or BS!!!??? Or is your impeccable source not reliable enough or maybe not correct??? I think you'll find that means it is NOT an impeccable source just another GWS toolbag spreading rumors.
