The interstate teams still get an advantage of a real home game (instead of the Melb teams playing against co-tenents) so I think it evens out

Flight booked, Accommodation booked, Entertainment package with MFC booked, all because a) I want to see the game in Alice and b) Because the AFL don't release the game time before round 10 and I missed out last year because all the Accommodation was booked and the flights were 5 times the price. If this game gets cancelled I will expect a full refund from......Somebody

The empty stands was a really bad look for the Mel v Ess game, as lots of tickets sold for the double header (port v Bullies) and people didn't show up until after half time. Plus how many Mel/Ess fans denied entry because the tickets went to the later game. i

I like the fact you are still traditionalist and use crepe paper, I see the other team's cloth flappy run throughs and think they are so lame. A huge shout out to all the team that do these. I also like the comradery there is between other teams cheer squads in relation to the banners. I know you all appreciate how much work goes into them (even the opposition's)
