I think it all comes down to motivation and what is in the players heads. Against StKilda. Neither players or coaching staff thought they would overcome the difference. And fid nothing to change things in that last quarter. Failure on the coach failure on the senior players. Hawthorn had the motivation and head space to beat us , once they relaxed just slightly we fid better. Conversely if we had thr motivation we might have made a decent game early , but our season is done. Next week same scenario . None of our players wants to take revenge for Gus. Will not happen. That one act just about won the pies the flag. That scumbag went hsrd and direct took Gus out , his season and career done. But none of our players Give a rats [censored] Hole about that. Pity. It’s the coaches job to do all that and the get the game plan correct. Just my thoughts
If we play the same individuals as yesterday we will lose by 50 points if more, list of them have checked out for 2025. Hawks had a reason to win. We did not. Pies have a reason to win, we do not! Dont even hope to get near them. Shiite though they are at the moment. Still we can dream

Yesterday. We might have put the fees up for the new coach but in no way would it scare a decent coach off. At times they showed a lot, it was just too far apart and with no fluidity Sone players showed their true worth by being behind thrif player all day. And done showed their limitations. But the rest , at times showed they had worth . Go Dee’s Not totally discouraged.

It is important to get the Casey players to make the finals and do well. So senior players should qualify if possible. It might be the only finals some players ever get. Best to make the most out of it for players and the club. Both Casey and MFC
