Disappointing to miss the finals but this was a very even year. we only had the two(?) really bad games. Why. NFI. Something was wrong. And how many by less than 10 or so points. And we started with two less top 22 players. So with the football gods with us in 2025. And some better team management. Look forward. Go Dee’s

Yes we gifted them the win with our panicked play in the last. Couple of minutes, we were exhausted but made errors in delivery, umpiring errors happen. We were still in front until we allowed them to hit the goals in the last minutes.

Pick 5 to start with Does that equate with say Houston and pick 13. Just guessing or say pick 11 and pick 16 again guessing the numbers but if the draft is as even as suggested then what is smarter ? trust in JT. Given us the goods in earlier years why not now !

Picked the blues but barracking for sainters. I remember last year they were losing all game you heard nothing we panicked in the last two minutes Gifted them the game and they celebrate as if they were champions all blooody day Stuff them as hard as possible

Absolutely no point in bringing in players from other clubs if all they do is sit at Casey. If they are backup for senior guys they should be first picked at Casey and play super well. We have our own ordinary players. Do not need any other clubs below AFL standard players.

I am glad we have recruiting staff that do not post on land. Half the side would not play. but hard decisions are needed, cut deep and refresh with youth. some players give service and deserve to stay, cost us little and serviceable depth. others not quite right. Let go by other clubs for a reason. glad someone smarter than me does it.

You seem to be in a reasonable place. (That’s Good). This para also seems to ring true. i do wonder sometimes how some footballers would go, if they had no football ability. we need big changes for 2025. Fitness, players, list management, skill, strategy, delivery into the f50. Dare I say coaching staff, but IMO most of all in player management and rehabilitation. In terms of recovery, resting through the season, and selection for specific roles. no point in playing late in august or September with 7 or 8 senior list players watching from the stands, with the rest of us. have we learnt nothing from 22, 23 and this year. It seems not,

Typical for those years. TJ fantastic skills, lazy, laconic, runs riot when he wanted in a game that was of no consequence. melbourne won but in reality lost. In those times when we tried to lose we failed. Terrible times best not look back look forward 21 and 25. I would take that as long as they are not bookends.

It’s not only the draft pick you need to go into a September game everyone fully fit. Otherwise you are acting as training cones for the other side. we can now plan for getting all medical stuff out and done . A full pre season after 8 weeks break. we need to give our best players breaks throughout the season. Similar to euro soccer sides . Not best 22 every game. Pick players for certain roles for certain opponents. Smarter selection. Hope we win tonight it’s ss close to a grand final for both sides
