DD36 thanks for all this, don’t get to listen to G and T, does Max get help from , the coach or other ex captains, or instructors who guide him through the early years of captaincy. Not many AFL players are rocket scientists indeed some are barely articulate. They can play great footy perhaps but that does not automatically lead to the responsibility of leading a group of players. I know personally I can barely lead a horse to water. Hope the club provides some sort of structure come on Demons. And happy equinox in a couple of days

You must only look at Spargo with a blue eye. At crucial times in our scoring. He is the one who links it all together. By being in the right place at the right time. yes he is small, never going to take mark of the day, can’t kick 60 m , but IMV is a very important part of the forward line. in any case it does not matter what we think, if the selectors choose him or not thats their decision. an interesting few days coming up. I think your wrong, The players are angry so it will be a 7 or 8 point loss, So they don't feel too upset when they put their hand out... an honourable loss

I don't know anywhere near Goodwin when it comes to football. I am a plodder, playing and understanding. I read others opinions on here and feel smarter by far. But.. I get more upset, during a game, after a game, than I think Goodwin does. (its his job, its my passion, apart from my darling). I would really love to have a coach that obviously shared a passion for our club, and actually showed it. There should be "learnings" whether you win or lose, but that's not why you play. Practice match or for the 4 points . You play to win and feel great for the next few days, until the next time you get learnings. Hate it when I think the other sides think we are soft cox, as that Carlton player surmised. Probably why I liked Rod Grinter and Aaron Vandenberg. Come on Dees get angry if we get behind in a game.

Was glad yesterday that this is March and we had a number of best 22 out, and we could have a look at the next lot. Well I did not see much to enthuse about in the first half except we were not "out" of the game. That was probably normal. Then came the t urd quarter, and That was probably normal, as well. Go missing at least one quarter. No point in watching the last, no one else was trying, for both sides. If we do better than 8th spot, it will be a big turnaround on yesterday. Our bottom 6 players are just not good enough. I will wait for the senior players to come back, but I am not holding my breath. How about nominating two or three of the running players to be the winger and compete for it but not pick or train for any other position. Would that work ?

We have plenty of areas to improve and no need to worry which or any of our recruits will be in the round 1 side glad it’s March!!

I have followed the Mighty Demons for 65 or more years. Yes I am TBO. I cannot think of another player that has had a better first 100 games than Clayton O. Robbie F was fantastic, and so consistently great, for a longer period. Clayton might reach that level for us and I hope he does. He certainly has the potential to be one of the very best. I hope he reaches an agreement and stays to become that great player. Go Dees, good luck monday to Clayton and all the others.

Can I have a glass half full ? would this injury or could it have caused his fade out in the 2019 or 2020 seasons, might it be a contributing factor, at the very least, and of course can he get over it ? Hope it has not happened of course, but.. the glass might be more empty than full. Any Sports Medicine type doctors can reply ! or indeed anyone at all. Go Dees
