Does learning to become an Elite team with Elite standards mean the off season needs to be treated as such. If we are fair dinkum about our direction as a whole then surely the the multi day bender that is mad Monday should be hit on the head. Especially after this season. Thoughts?

JT will be a great for the MFC, I have no problem with where he is at. He is a 58 game player. He has another 2 pre seasons to get through before he gets to the same stage as someone like Dangerfield. I prepared to give him a 4 year apprenticeship and reserve my judgement until then. Morton on the other hand.

He's averaged 95 a game for the last 6!

Great to see him back after that terrible injury last year. I thought he showed a bit before that and I'm looking forward to what he can produce next year after a proper pre season! Loved the other players contacting him for support! One of the best parts of our game!

Maybe he has been doing a lot of extra weights this year and is continuing to do so to build up his size. When it comes time for the start of pre season he will be ready to start working with his new frame rather than trying to build it over pre season. Maybe a vision of putting him forward again next season.

I was [censored] off just like the rest of MFC supporters when they gave Junior the arse, He was a great leader and the perfect player and when his time came ex player to have around the club to help develop the younger players sadly that wont happen! To get Travis Cloke would absolutely F%$K this club up! He is well over priced for the consistency he delivers, and the precedence his two brothers set before him is not very promising. The writing is on the wall with this bloke, it will be a huge pay day and will deliver F all! The last thing we need for our players and club is someone that will hold a club to ransom over money when players 100% more talented and consistent sign for much less because they buy into the team ideal! While letting Junior go has stunted the growth of our younger players and overall club position obtaining Cloke at such a huge price would cripple us financially and developmentally. From what you've see this year and you had to choose one would you take Mitch Clarke at his value or Travis Cloke for the reported 5 for 5??

Correct! Plus they have already investigated and came up with nothing. Not to mention they would have to dredge up every game of every year for the teams that made it from the bottom of the ladder to the top in a short time for example Geelong, Collingwood, Hawthorn and West Coast.
