  1. AF do you see Petty, Tomlinson, Lever and May in same backline come 2022?

  3. They discussed this on "On the Couch" this week, and while I think they should intro an acknowledgement medal for those to were part of the squad or team over the season, Garry was convincing that the players all want to win the Premiership match (be in the team that does the work) and that this is special for those who are in it and known to those who aren't... I.e. Would Tomlinson be just as happy to win the premiership squad medal or play in and deliver for himself and the club the actual premiership victory and get the real premiership medal..? Unfortunately for those unlucky to miss out its a win-lose game that decides the season and place in history, it should stay as it is (happy for a secondary medal, but it would have minimal value)...
  4. My guess is it will be Bont, as Oliver, Trac and Max take too many off each other...
  5. Assuming Tomlinson slots back in once fit next season, does Petty go forward..? and, if so, how would he rate compared to Sam?
  6. is it as simple as "lock horns!"?

Jon Ralph spreading chook food for poor Blues fans... If there's no decision for the next 2 weeks, then we're likely on. Oh, and why would you join a shambles club without a coach?
  8. PaulR replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I suspect some rumours should not be publicised until after the Finals are concluded..?
  9. "bunkum", now there's a word that is very underused in today's day to day. Nice one Jnr. Geelong are bunkum.
  10. PaulR replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Not particularly. More about who may want to seek opportunities elsewhere (due to limited opportunity at MFC) that might in turn give us more currency to get Cerra. I've no idea what freo would want.
  11. PaulR replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'd have thought our currency for Cerra wont be revealed until after the seasons done (obvious I know). However, I'd be looking at the upcoming players who play similar roles to our stars, especially in the middle. Players like Chandler and Sparrow who've shown they could be playing regular midfield minutes and forging their careers in a team without Clarrie, Trac and Jack... even Harmes and Brayshaw, if they want serious midfield minutes.
  12. “Likely” being the key word… no injuries fly home, injuries (depending on whom) and Nathan stays on…
  13. I think it’s illuminating that I’m yet to hear our coach mention Sam as a potential “IN” during our finals campaign, not once and many others being touted… Given TMac’s average form, … not a word that Weid could step up.
  14. Great game.
  15. Fagan losing his nut… hilarious
  16. If the Cats lose this one, it’s official, we broke them… 😃😃😃
  17. A lot can happen between now and a potential Grand Final, Nathan’s role is in the hands of the footy gods, and he’s right to prepare himself on the off chance they bless him with an opportunity to play. Either way Nathan has done himself and our club proud. Go Demons
  18. Nothing in it. Fine at best.
  19. Tis good. Did we break the cats? 😃
  20. I see Joel Smith as a forward in the same way Jeremy Howe is a forward... i.e. he's not.
  21. Another who’s never experienced a minor premiership in 50+ years a supporter. Hoping for it to all click and our boys to reveal to the top 8, that the team at the top of the ladder is indeed the team they’ll have to beat to claim the flag this year. Shock and awe, drizzled with champagne. Go Demons.
  22. Gee Weightman is very good.
  23. Georgiadies injured..
  24. Hardly, Doggies have lost their mojo...
