  1. Of course that doesn't factor in actual total shots, but you'd have to think if you're kicking with that accuracy, you're not going to have too many complete misses. I can't remember any from those two, but it's possible that there were a couple.
  2. Actually, Fritta is 16.4, (80%), and should be on top of that chart, while the Chin is 13.2 at 87%. Which one would you rather have kicking for your life? I think I'd take either.
  3. Of course, at this early stage of the season, if you've kicked, say 15.4, you'll beat all those above hands down, but not appear on the list.
  4. Maybe I didn't make it as clear as I might have. He displayed the same degree of usefulness at both clubs, ie. not much. I have no idea why we recruited him in the first place. Maybe it was because of what he might have become, because it certainly wasn't on the basis of what he'd already done, and I say that as a Glenelg supporter. He was certainly a fairly big boy, but size isn't an important factor unless you can use it.
  5. I was there, unfortunately. I think it was the first GF at Football Park. Back in those days, for reasons that escape me, the wind often used to howl down the ground. I can't bring myself to watch it all again, it was bad enough at the time, but as I recall, Fred Phillis, who was the best full forward of that era, couldn't buy a goal. Although he regularly kicked 100 or more over multiple seasons.
  6. No, Sellar was from Glenelg. He was as useful there as he was for us
  7. I eventually figured it out, also after a few goes, and now have two member tickets. But I agree that it's not very user friendly, and when you're trying to figure it out with a timer counting down, it can become a little challenging. If we don't win, it's going to be an expensive disappointment. But of course we will win, and should! If for no other reason so that I can politely shove it up my Qld-based Lions-supporting rellies. I've only ever, after 60-odd (mostly just odd) years of supporting Dees, seen two live Dees finals - one against the Roos in 2002, and Geelong 2018. Both times we were winners, so hopefully the spaced-out trend continues.
  8. How did you do it? I'm currently battling Ticketek, but without much success. (I live in Adelaide, lucky me!) It doesn't seem to want to let me book tickets, even though I'm putting in the right barcode numbers. Are we supposed to select General Admission, which seems to be restricted to just a couple of small bays? Or do we select the other option, Home/Club 1 members? I would have thought that since this is not a Crows/Port match, the usual "keep the other bastards out" rules wouldn't apply. Anyone been through the exercise successfully?
  9. Make mine" Lazy" as well. Has to be played at 11, though. Even has a bit of harp, if I recall correctly. Might have to go and play it to make sure that's correct. Sorry, neighbours!
  10. Agree with this 100%. Hamill still had an arm free and could have used it to protect himself from hitting his head. He chose to use it to try to get a kick away. It was his choice, effectively, that led to his head hitting the ground. I don't see why Nibbler (or anyone else in a similar situation) should be penalised for someone else's bad decision.
  11. I'll throw something out there. Luke Reynolds has just played in the winning Grand Final for Glenelg in the SANFL. (It's been a long, long wait!). He kicked 53.19 for the season and was second to Liam McBean in the SANFL goal kicking. He's a strong mark and doesn't miss too often, particularly in comparison to our woeful kicking this year. (And last year as well. I was rewatching last year's final with the Cats the other day, and even though we won, we kicked something like 10 behinds on the trot! You wouldn't normally get away with that too often.) He was rookied by Carlton in 2014, and I have no idea why they let him go, but maybe he was immature then. He's 24 now, so he's not a spring chicken, but he's not too old to bother with. I reckon he might be worth another go in the big time. This time he might be mature enough to appreciate what he missed out on last time, and grab the opportunity with both hands. Lots of ifs and buts, but it's just a thought.
  12. My grandson has a membership via Auskick. He can't go, so my daughter has sent me his barcode number. Am I able to use that to buy two adult tickets, or will Ticketek recognise the barcode as a junior member and not allow me to buy two adult tickets? Can anyone advise?
