  1. Speaking of polls, I just noticed that Rangey is now a member of 'Ology and has requested they put in a poll function! Good work Rangey.
  2. I reckon you and Biffo should have a beer together, Sloon. But give us warning of when and where.
  3. Good lord, Sloony, please wear a name badge to the footy in future so I know not to let my 5yr old wander into your path in the event of a Sloonatic fight.
  4. I think Neeld is a firm believer in the belief that premierships are won from the defence. Depth is critIcal to this.
  5. What's honourable about losing a game of footy? Contradiction of terms IMO. Either you win (which has honour) or you lose. Ask the Hawks if they feel any honour in losing to the Swans by about a goal.
  6. Every chance we'd find something to bicker about at any one time, DWA.
  7. I'd love to have a good Flash again at the MFC
  8. Dee-luded will take his meds and write posts that make sense. Range Rover will start a poll about what to start a poll about. BBO will lash out and buy a new red and blue studded neck belt, extra tight fit.
  9. Yo can always tell and Essendon supporter, but you can't tell em much.
  10. We could have offered to pay some of his final year contract as an incentive to trade, as happened with Morton. But of course Morts was not on big coin. My guess is that either he's so shot that no other clubs wanted to go near him, or the FD still see something worth keeping. The training reports on here say that he is well behind in terms of fitness, but that his kicking and decision making are looking very good. We are all speculating about the actual condition of his legs. Anyone know with certainty what the prognosis is here? Surely we would have heard that he was on the trade table if that was the case last month. Neeld has shown he is prepared to get rid of those who will not add something to the list, regardless of reputation or draft pick. I cannot understand why he would keep Davey and not try and trade him, retire him or come to a financial understanding to free up a spot on the list if he did not think he would overcome his troubles. Yes, he has a big family to look after, but why spend a year in the VFL further ruining your body when you could work out a financial settlement, retire with dignity and free up a pick in the PSD or rookie draft. He himself came through the rookie system, so he would understand it's value to a young AFL hopeful.
  11. But isn't F/S bidding completed before the player trading period even begins?
  12. I thought he recently re-signed with GC? Two years, wasn't it. Why would he do that and then leave?
