Important to our structure at the moment, but like many on our backline over the last couple of years, prone to brain fades and panic. Plays the percentages well most of the time, then turns over with a poor kick under no pressure or even known to do the double fisted punch 'spoil' whilst uncontested.
How old is he and who's next in line to join TMac as a KPD long term? Hurley?
Max King will stay. Very good kick for his size, needs more muscle and stamina. Still young. I think the club sees him as a long term project. Refer to the recent thread here about the bigfooty poster who claimed to have a good chat with Goodwin.
We now have good depth. Competition for senior spots is tough. Looking forward to seeing if guys like Grimes, Dawes, Garland, JKH, Michie, Newton and Terlich can force their way back into the main game.
Sam Pang is one of the more clever comedians around atm. Has good timing. Not a loud, stupid boofhead like Mick Molloy or Peter Hellier. Writes a lot of the material, I believe.
What?!! He clearly grabbed the ball to his chest making token punching actions to it well before anyone tackled him. Wstch the front on vision to Smith. His intent was to keep the ball in his hands and stall the flow of play, not to dispose of it. As Carey said, holding the ball every day of the week (except Friday night, it would appear)
Now watch the umpires boss come out and say the Isaac Smith holding the ball in the final seconds should have been paid.
Looking forward to the reaction when a tough decision goes the Hawks way in the dying seconds of the GF with them down by 5 points.
