Injury List - Season 2019
If you're not doing contact or match sim work because of recovery from injury then it's an interrupted preseason. Simples.

They have a $950 membership package which includes a 5 min dental check-up (1 min per tooth) and a tatt of a cartoon magpie

List Management- Hawks have 31 players out of contract end of 2019
Clubs often have a large number OOC, but that is huge. Suspect they'll contract up the majority before too long

The Irish
Lets not forget we also had a number of Irish recruits that failed miserably, notably one carrying the surname Stynes. But I agree we shouldn't be dismissing the Irish now.

THE 2018 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT
Interesting insight into Carlton's trade for Liam Stocker. Camera and mikes in the Blues trade day room http://m.afl.com.au/video/2018-12-06/must-see-exclusive-access-as-the-carlton-draft-deal-goes-down

I think it was @Bitter but optimistic Unless it was Special Robert, he's Biffen's elite drug runner

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - NATALIE PORTMAN
I hate to admit this, but my missus yelled to me that NP was just on Ch 9 on the Ellen show in the US promoting her Aust visit. She was bragging about going to watch the Dees train and that she was now a Demons fan. They showed pics of her donning the 'jersey', with Goody and others. She was very enthusiastic. Talked about it for 3 or 4 mins. Anyone still think this hasn't been a very successful promotion for the club? Got great exposure locally and now a short segment on popular US TV. Our sponsors will wee their pants after seeing this.

Irrelevant. He's an experienced AFL player and his shocker contributed towards the GF loss. I won't be an apologist anymore for pea hearts. Suit yourself. I'll leave you to keep going.

????? Garlett struggles to thrive at VFL level, let alone in the seniors. 11 disp in the wet is hardly thriving. One goal proves nadda, but you can always take it out of context to make your point

Lewis Giving It Everything in 2019
Won't hurt as much when he can't keep his feet and goes to ground

Yes, those 11 disposals and 1 tackle in the prelim were spectacular, the next week, one of the poorest performances possible by an experienced AFL player in a VFL game. That's a more realistic snapshot than one VFL goal or one training sidestep. Personally, I'd be thrilled if Spargo played every game and kept Garlett out of the senior side. Reward effort. I don't like players that regularly pick and choose when to play competitive footy. The days of cutting slack to guys like Garlett and Watts are thankfully over.

Gary Pert?
@Colin B. Flaubert do you feel more reassured after Pert's interview on SEN?

Tmac appears to have put on size. Has his right elbow strapped up. Did he have an issue with this during the season?

A precocious little runt, after Ben Lee described himself as the saviour of Australian rock music, or something equally stupid.

Jason Taylor Resume
Because the FD could see that despite racking up reasonable numbers, Tyson's decision making is slow, foot speed poor and disposal iffy. He's an inside mid and we have others that have gone post him. We needed a key back (May), support ruck (Preuss) and an outside runner with good disposal (Kolo). According to HS interview, Dom knew the writing was on the wall several months ago.

Gary Pert?
I think you are reading to much into the situation, Colin It could equally be said that Pert oversaw a flag at the pies, and isn't it great he's head down, bum up now he's at our club? PJ was fantastic for us, but the stench of the previous CEO still lingers in the memory. Personally, I prefer a CEO to work his magic in the background
