Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Fair enough. But note his opponent, Caddy, was kept quiet. But I agree he would be better served at Casey once Lever, May and Nev return

Jon Patton
And offers little more than that. He's also 29

Melksham played some time in the midfield on Wednesday, and looked ok early on. By quarter time I thought he was doing well. Faded like the rest of the team Unfortunately, Salem and Fritter are needed in the backline to distribute. Lewis, Hibbert, Frost and Hunt cannot be trusted to kick the ball with any degree of reliability. Lewis spends most of his time on hands and knees

The point is only you want Patton. Why start a thread if you don't accept perfectly logical counter suggestions which happen to be right? Oliver is our only clean A grader. Brayshaw's foot disposal is average, B grader. The rest are either perennially injured, not playing as mids or horrifically out of form. Open your eyes mate. You're the type of poster who will watch the Hawk mids tear us a new one next week and still claim Patton is a better get than a free agent Cognilio! Can't be bothered wasting any more time on this, C ya

Lewis will surely retire at season end, possibly Jones too. But ATM their experience and leadership is unfortunately the best we have. I thought Lewis wasn't too bad vs Richmond, fumbly and falling over too easily, of course. As Wise mentioned, he kept Caddy quiet Jones won the game for us vs Swans and I think he should play out of the forward line for the rest of the year. Team injuries may not permit this though. However, demanding retirement after the next round is plain stupid.

I like Connor Rosee. He'll be a ripper

Clarko has: Tom Mitchell Omeara Impey Warpedo Isaac Smith Sheils $cully. Strong rumour is they have Cognilio in their sights. 3 x A graders at least. 4 if they get Cognilio. With that midfield, of course they will also go for Patton to replace Roughy. It's a no brainer. Do you even watch the game, mate??? Move on.

Thanks for proving my point Name one of our mids with A grade foot skills, partic inside 50 delivery? Oliver comes closest, but no cigar. Salem and Fritter are playing back. The rest are average to poor. What hope do our forwards have? Cognilio and Rowell/Anderson/Young would be a massive improvement going inside 50 Patton can't get on the park, would command $800k pa and cost a 1st round pick in trade. But sure, I'll go with your call. FMD...

You sexist old fogey! I think he's cute....

Better delivery inside 50 will lead to goals. Tmac and Weid have had horrid delivery. Games are won in the midfield, the 666 rule has emphasised this. But I guess you knew that.

Cognilio as a FA and Rowell or similar as 1st round pick would help us more than a kneeless, highly priced KPF.

The healthy ego of Paul Roos and our current plight.
So the players play for history, the colors red and blue, and jumper? Righto. I thought they played for their teammates and for premierships. How silly am I.

Nice goal by Ryder, but he was clearly the 3rd man up in the boundary throw in. #hometownumpadvantage

Four days off
You honestly think they won't do work over the 4 days? Most footballers do some sort of session every day, whether it be recovery, running or weights. But you probably knew that, right? It seems far too common to be easily outraged these days than to look for the boring truth
