  1. What is the unwritten law? I recognised Sinclair & Butler in the St Kilda side. But obviously Sleepy, Grumpy, Sneezy, Bashful and Doc were rested this week. Just our luck if they're recalled next week.
  2. Spargo .... neat little player
  3. Shame he got rid of his top knot.
  4. Membrey often does well against us.
  5. He made a couple of errors which cost goals. Good !!
  6. As much as I despise the filth, it was nice to see plenty of Treloar's ex teammates give him a hug after the match.
  7. I hate the filth. Come on doggins.
  8. Bolton is such a good player
  9. Richmond player ran into protected area .... no 50 metre penalty ....
  10. Saad is a really good player
  11. As if .... Richmond player
  12. Half time. Match pretty much going to script. McIntosh reminds me of the construction worker from the Village People. Contested possessions stats flash up on screen 16-16. Commentator ... "contested possession pretty close". No, they're not close ... they're freakin identical !!
  13. Do we really want to be reminded?
  14. I just watched the first part of Exposed The Ghost Train Fire. Compelling viewing. Although the interviews with the fathers of 2 of the victims and the widow/mother of other victims were heartbreaking. I commend this to fellow 'landers.
  15. Blocking is pretty popular ... particularly in marking contests. The Richmond defence are masters at it. However, the gentle art of shepherding seems to have all but vanished. At least for the Dees. How often (over the past couple of years) have you seen a handball to a team mate accompanied by a shepherd allowing the receiver to run off without direct pressure from an opponent?
  16. He may be right. But that doesn't mean he isn't a total jerk.
  17. Agree with various other posters that it's highly unlikely Majak is AFL match fit. There's a world of difference snagging 4 goals in a VFL practice match and an AFL match. He won't be selected for Round 1. Or possibly the next few rounds.
  18. In the late 70s/early 80s I wrote a letter to the Club pointing out repeated errors made by the team after a particularly inept performance, and expressing my disappointment. I received a response from the then President, Stuart Spencer agreeing with my comments and saying that he had issued a copy of my letter to every senior player!! Different times !!
  19. +1 .... I've already put a few bucks on Freo at juicy odds. I think the odds with shorten after today's deplorable performance.
  20. First goal ... Q4. Cue Benny Hill music.
  21. Hey, who's that #4 for the Bulldogs? He can play a bit.
