I saw the gala on TV ... the standard has really dropped. Although Luke Heggie was pretty funny, so I'll probably see him. (Hopefully he can sustain the standard for a one hour show.) I went to Comedy Bites at Capitol Theatre a couple of weeks ago. Oh dear!! I've booked to see Kitty Flanagan. Her standup is really good. (I've seen her a couple of times.) FWIW I don't rate her TV show Fisk though. And Sarah Pascoe is usually pretty good.
