  1. Nah, that never works.
  2. Who is that Hogan guy? He looks pretty good.
  3. That Bedford player looks ok.
  4. I was actually more upset after the filth match. However you dress it up, the team choked. Not much consolation, but I put $100 on the filth, and $100 on Carlton. At least I've seen my team win a flag. Which I never expected would happen. Tis a lovely day ... I've been for a nice bikeride. Longer one scheduled for tomorrow.
  5. Like so many others, I feel totally flat after the Maynard debacle. I'm going to the match tomorrow. I guess I'll get my mojo back by then. Hopefully the players do the same, particularly at the start of the match!!
  6. I don't understand why our opponents seem to dominate centre clearances, especially at the start of matches. And particularly as our midfield personnel are so highly rated.
  7. I unfortunately saw the beetroot faced/triplechinned/boofhead on the news. I wish I could unsee that. He fits in well with Joffa and the rest of the filth people.
  8. I query why Andrew didn't run the "he chose to bump" argument, at least in the alternative ....
  9. They'll go through the appeals process first. If Maynard is suspended, and the appeal is dismissed, they will definitely go to court. Zero doubt about that.
  10. My former neighbour played rugby for years, at a relatively high level. He was prone to being very aggressive ... I witnessed him going from talking calmly to losing his temper/shouting violently in seconds. He drove me out of my old house. I didn't feel safe living next to him. (Inner city/terraces houses very close together, and there was an 'issue' between us.) I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt by presuming he had/has CTE, rather than him simply being a psycho. He seemed to exhibit classic CTE behaviour.
  11. Does anyone else remember when he was on the radio? (927) A most unpleasant stupid man.
  12. He won the appeal because the appeals tribunal ruled that the original tribunal member has misdirected himself before making his decision. He didn't win due to a re-analysis of the incident.
  13. If the dog gets off at the Tribunal, I presume/hope that the AFL will appeal. Obviously the filth will appeal if he is suspended. So given the likelihood (inevitability) of an appeal hearing, the decision of the Tribunal hearing may be largely irrelevant. Except perhaps to give the filth an additional ground of appeal on technical grounds (as per the Cripps case, when the appeals tribunal ruled that the Tribunal had misdirected itself). FWIW, if the appeals tribunal upholds a suspension, it is inevitable that the filth will take the matter to court given the huge stakes.
  14. Sportsbet odds Demons $1.66 Blues $2.23. These odds seem ridiculous. Should be pretty much even money.
  15. Not a good idea to read their comments. Only gets you riled up. I didn't attend KB match because I hate being around those disgusting subhumans. I relented and went to the QF.
  16. I'm over my black mood re Thursday's match ... except for my hatred of that dog, and the filth generally. I can still smile when remembering 2021.
  17. Break glass in case of emergency. We are in an emergency situation.
  18. Possibly the same one who described Horne-Francis as a "revelation". Yes, the #1 draft pick, who was never going to be anything other than a star. Burgoyne ... listening to him is like scraping nails down a blackboard. Hodge ... [insert your own comment]
  19. Andrew Gaff missed out on a GF due to him belting A. Brayshaw. Hopefully Maynard suffers the same fate for assaulting A. Brayshaw. (Although hopefully the filth lose the Prelim.)
  20. Piece of filth ... He is among his own kind.
  21. Wow ... so disappointing. A few random thoughts. The slow starts are diabolical. It cost us the match. The filth could have been even further ahead at qtr time ... they missed a few sitters. The filth looked more skilful. They hit targets more often, and fumbled less. When Langdon was being well beaten by Sidebottom, the coach should have switched wingers. If Gus hadn't been assaulted, he may have been shifted onto him. Overall most of our boys were well down on their best form. Not sure why that was. One thing that is apparent is that the filth are definitely 'gettable'. Just when I thought I couldn't hate the filth more ...
  22. A thought. Ahead of Round 1 there was plenty of talk about the Dogs' 4 talls forward line - Naughton, Lobb, JUH and Darcy. And how would we stop them? Stopping them wasn't a problem. (Yeah,I know the filth are a better side.)
  23. They weren't very lucky in last year's finals series. Having said that, I doubt that there is a causal link between your choice of undergarments and the outcome of football matches.
