Kozzy Homesick & Wants to Leave?
I have no concerns about him leaving. I was watching a small portion of the greatest game in the AFL era last night (which i do in times of stress). For those like me who couldn't actually see it live, it occurred at the end of the 2021 season. On his right forearm Kozzie had inscribed the word "loyalty". I admit I hadn't previously noted it (despite watching the game more than once) but it clearly indicates he is going nowhere.

Lachie Hunter Retires
So one less continuing player who played in the greatest AFL game of the 21st century.

Trent Rivers - 100 Games!
3 I think. Ash would have played his 100 tomorrow if not suspended

Trent Rivers - 100 Games!
Only the fourth player of his draft after Kozzie, Serong and Anderson to play 100. It was a pretty good draft too

If you can extend your "quality kids under 23" out another 2 months we have: Pickett Rivers Turner Bowey Van Rooyen McVee Monez Wakefield Windsor and Tholstrup We also have: Woewodin Howes Jefferson Brown All of whom I have some hopes could have a reasonable AFL career. I dont think it is the worst base to build a team on

Part 12 - Jason Taylor - visionary or overrated - the conclusion
many thanks for this series. It has reopened a few wounds and brought back some moments of joy

Time to go Goody?
Thompson retired as he was "sick of football" He wasnt sacked.

binman’s rant (Goody defence)
He was walking round the Tan last week and patted our family dog (who is now allowed to sleep on my pillow)

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Not wishing to be a pedant or a smartarse, but they had 3 players with less than 50 games against our 7 and one playing his 50th. They were on average 11 months older than us and averaged about 6 games per player more. With us having 7 aged under 22 commpared to their two, i reckon they are the middle aged bombers.

Max Gawn.... A giant of a gentleman and bloody good bloke.
I regret to say that I am on record as saying the only good thing Max would ever to for the MFC was to puke on Tom Scully. That was a long time ago. Now i proudly boast that young George Gawn did swimming lessons with my granddaughter.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
Only saw first half at teh ground. Thomo had lots of posessions but several were of the kind Hawthorn backs had against us. Some very good and some ordinary. Dont be fooled by the high posession numbers however.

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
It was just in front of me. He got a call and gave it in the right direction. Dont look on it as being Hunters fault. Otherwise, he hasnt looked all that good although a bit better in the last few minutes before half time.

Will Hayward
Billy Picken did. He was reqruited from Heywood

NON-MFC: Round 03
Hawks have a higher score in the first half than they did for the whole game against us.

Harrison Petty
Looked a happy player in a happy team during the last quarter on Saturday. And he was first to get his arms round Petracca after "that spoil" with a huge smile on his face

Your Least Favourite AFL Team (Poll)
Certainly Essendon this century. Carlton are doing their best to reclaim the crown (particularly through their supporters) If it was the most loathed player, he would come from a different team and I think be considered for that position by at least 99% of Demonlanders. I am to my surprise not as anti GWS as I was. That may relate to the current make up including Toby Bedford and Hogan and not Sheedy, $cully, Phat Phil or Silvagni
