  1. That's the thing with Jack Watts; he gets truckloads of criticism for a few poor and 'soft' plays, and his good deeds go unnoticed by many. The Melbourne website had him listed in the best players today.
  2. In 2010 we had a great back line...one of the best in the comp. Wellman goes, Royal comes in and it goes downhill. Last year our midfield wasn't awful; we had some good games and some bad games. This year, Royal takes over the midfield coaching role. Now we have NO good games.
  3. I like the point about Tapscott, and the last point. Other than that I disagree with you and don't believe that it would be worth my time to explain why.
  4. How about being 14pts down at 3 quarter time and going on to lose by 10 goals? Why do we just drop our heads and let the other team run away with it EVERY SINGLE WEEK? It does my head in.
  5. Out: Sellar, Dunn, Moloney, Green In: Martin, Bartram, Morton, Couch
  6. Has everyone on this forum forgotten about Liam Jurrah?
  7. He's been injured all year (minus one game). He was our leading goal kicker last year despite not being in his best form and was sensational the year before. If we were to trade Jurrah I would seriously question the club's direction.
  8. Don't understand why you'd want to get rid of Jurrah if he's not in jail. He's one of the only players on our list capable of turning a game.
  9. I will put a reminder in my computer so that in 2 years I can find this thread and show you just how wrong you were.
  10. 6-McDonald 5-Rivers 4- McKenzie 3- Jones 2- Clark 1- Bail
  11. For now it's dry and partly cloudy, but it is forecast and feels as though it is going to rain in a little while.
  12. Alright Devils in 7 is locked in, Macca. Here's the schedule: Game 1: Los Angeles @ New Jersey, Wednesday, May 30th 8pm EST Game 2: Los Angeles @ New Jersey, Saturday, June 2nd 8pm EST Game 3: New Jersey @ Los Angeles, Monday, June 4th 8pm EST Game 4*: New Jersey @ Los Angeles, Wednesday, June 6th 8pm EST Game 5*: Los Angeles @ New Jersey, Saturday, June 9th 8pm EST Game 6*: New Jersey @ Los Angeles, Monday, June 11th 8pm EST Game 7*: Los Angeles @ New Jersey, Wednesday, June 13th 8pm EST *If necessary.
  13. If so, according to MFC's twitter feed, Yarra Park parking is closed today due to the rain. Allow extra time if you're driving to find a parking spot, or take public transport. Go DEES!
  14. They also have the advantage of 50% of their team qualifying for a nomination.
  15. Tom McDonald and Sam Blease are always a chance. I wouldn't hold my breath for the other two, though.
  16. Alright, I'm going to go with Kings in 7 (win it on the road, in typical LA 2012 fashion). What's your tip, Macca?
  17. I'd be surprised if Tom McDonald ended the season without being nominated.
  18. I agree, Macca. Would love to see Johnson in red and blue. I think we're more likely to win the premiership this year than to see that happen, though.
  19. Oh God...Don't turn this into one of "those" threads.
  20. Clark will play as he does every game and leave everything out on the MCG, as will Jones. Of the players who haven't played well this season, I think (and hope) that Trengove will put in a solid performance.
  21. If I were Collingwood I'd let him go. How can they be sure that he is giving them the best advice on who to pick when he is leaving for another club as soon as the draft is done?
  22. I can't remember where I read it, but apparently Rendell looks like he's going to be joining Port Adelaide.
  23. If I were to add Eddie Betts I'd have to add his shorts as well. They are part of the reason he's so good to watch. When he's coming down from a hanger it looks like he's deployed a parachute from just below his waistline.
