Petterd showed how much he wanted to play AFL with his performance a couple of weeks ago. Dunn deserves the promotion based on his game last week.

I'd be disappointed to see Morton dropped. He wasn't good last week, but neither were about 18 other blokes. He was okay in a few matches before last weekend and I think he deserves another crack.

Well there certainly haven't been a whole lot of positives to come from the first part of the season.... A positive would be if the entire team started to go out there and look like they were having a crack for an entire game.
-
I think we'll perform just well enough in the second half to ensure that we are forced into taking JV with our first rounder.
-
If only there were a stat for effort. I guess all the low rankings give us an indication of where we'd sit.

What do you reckon is being said

I can only hope that Neeld is telling him he's dropped. He doesn't deserve a game this week based on what I've seen so far. -
Yes, OD, unfortunately it tends to be a recurring theme.

Yep, I'll be there too, but luckily without any Carlton supporters (I don't like to associate with that type). The next 3 matches are the only 3 I will get to this season, I would just love for the Dees to show SOMETHING

Positive: There's only 14 games of this torture left.

It really isn't the forward line that is the problem. If the ball isn't going down there, how are they supposed to kick goals? We'd be better off bringing up players to help in the midfield who could give our forwards some decent use of the footy. For the near future, though, Cook has no place in the senior team.
-
No. Let him put some form together in the VFL this season, get a preseason under his belt and then maybe next year throw him in. If he isn't doing much in the VFL, what is the point in putting him straight into the AFL?
-
Carlton has looked pretty ordinary the last couple of weeks. Hopefully we don't play them back into form.

Well, he at least gets his players going at the right time. I personally couldn't care less about the result in the East, I find both teams very boring to watch. I just hope it goes 7 so that LA will be facing a tired opponent.
-
LA is only the second team to knock off the #1, #2, and #3 seeds in their conference. Interestingly, the last team to do so was the Calgary Flames in 2004, who were also coached by Sutter.

DEMONLAND PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Round 8
Good Times Grimes replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
6- Watts 5- Blease 4- Rivers 3- Jones 2- Grimes 1- Magner -
That loss goes in the same category as 186.

Jurrah's not looking good.
-
And it's out to 100.
-
Uh oh...Jurrah clutching the wrist.
-
Morton.
-
Neeld looks like he's about to cry. At least I know someone with the team feels the way I do.
-
Why do our players not hit the ball with intensity? They stand there and wait for it to come to them rather than going and getting it!
-
Wasn't that Port's first season? What was their score?
-
Jones is a very good kick for goal.
