  1. Can't beleive your thinking, we would've all loved him out there but he hadn't already served his ban, he was injured! And blaming Neeld for being a school bully???? We have been crying for a tough discipline serving coach for years. Would you rather we still had Baily patting blokes on the bum when they stuff up? Come on, Great move Neeld.
  2. Fingers crossed for Mitch. Been to the 3 Vic games this year and Mitch is everything we have been waiting for in a KPF. Just excites me when he goes near the ball. Even though he only got the 1 goal against the Dogs I saw it as probably his best, or at least as good as the 5 v the Eagles. Just the presence he has up forward, the way he attacked the footy, his unselfishness, toughness, exactly what we've been crying for since Neitz. If we can fix our midfield (Jack Viney great start) and get him and Jurrah (when fit) a ton of opportunities, will be really exciting. Good on you Mitch for proving many wrong thus far, keep it up and hope the neck scans are all good.
  3. So you dont think Moloney and Sylvia getting 25 plus touches in the mid and Jurruh up with Clarke would have been a massive difference against the Tigers? If our senior players were up and about our younger players would improve much quicker IMO.
  4. If our senior players were playing well let alone on the field do you think it would be this bad. You think is is Neeld that has made us this bad in one off season? What about Having Moloney and Sylvia back in the mids playing well, what about Jurrah up there kicking 3 a game, what if Green played anywhere close to his ability, what if Davey played well. Stef Martins gone missing. Scully is gone. Gys injured, Tappy missed nearly a full pre season, Grimes needs games. Howe has played 16 games and was best on field(2 goals 24 possies) Magner has played 3 games and was best on ground for the first 2. Coach looks another Magner type and Jack Viney is just around the corner, not to mention our Scully compo picks and the high picks we will get from this pus of a year. I also hate hearing excuses, but there are all these things going against Neeld. Surely can only improve. I know we have all been waiting for so long, but we need to stick it out with Neeld and give him a chance with a full side. Last thing we want to do is continue to chance coaches every 2-3 years like Richmond for the past 30 years. Hang in there fellow Dees, I know it hurts and to ask us all to wait through another building phase seems like a bad joke, but I'm confident the direction has changed for the better. Just need MORE patience.
  5. We were always going to go backwards before we went forwards. The players need to learn to play with actual discipline, something most of this group have never done. I agree he needs a base to start with, and that means starting from scratch and teaching players basic structures and disciplines.
  6. Dunn again? Bate was sub for both games, I hope he gets a full game this week.
  7. Problem is you have to have the footskills to pull off the Geelong gameplan. The reason Neeld is forced to start with kick it long to a contest, force it out of bounds and hopefully win the next clearance gameplan is exactly that reason, we have poor skills. Every team would like to emulate Geelong or the Hawks, but few have the skills.
  8. Still waiting on me free footy from the pricks wonder if that will ever come. Dogs it's been 7 months already.
  9. Haha yeah hysterically, shortly after crying!
  10. thanks mate and good news on the 30k mark.
  11. Anyone know if the MFC has an email for membership enquires? Want to sign my son up at the ground on Saturday but want to choose the direct debit option. Just wondering if that is posible (I know I can online, but at the ground?) and will he still receive his members pack on the day? He is only 3 so not concerned about the entry.
  12. And will sign my 3 year old up on Saturday, his first ever game!
  13. When can you pick 2012 members scarfe up, round 1?
  14. Not sure if it's already been asked somewhere, but I didn't hear jack viney mentioned in the Casey win, was he rested?
  15. Hawks play Richmond, North, GWS and Melbourne, pencil them in for 4 wins with a ridiculous perscentage.
  16. Agree, worst case scenario is he we get him to Casey.
  17. Now to just land Toovey or Gillies to free up Grimes / Tappy to the midfield.
  18. Post 1???? Obviously a jealous Freo supporter, sign up to demonland just to post this crud did you?
  19. If the media are correct in saying this is a weak draft, pick 37 is probably not worth what it normally is and I heard on SEN that anything outside the top 20 is seriously thin. Not sure I really rate picks above 30 this year, going to have to get extra lucky, I'd say the crows were the winner out of that one.
  20. I can't find anything on this? Where did you hear/read these clubs are not interested? I for one would be wrapped to have him in our forward line next year, been too long since we've have a dominant big man.
  21. I only see blue sky, you see clouds??? What the??? I see many clouds, just saying to pencil us in for 12th next year is very pessimistic. I'm not expecting top 4 or something ridiculous, but no reason why we couldn't finish somewhere between 10 and 7 with the right people in place and a new direction and buzz around the place. So so early, who knows.
  22. Hmm and West coast, no new coach or new ideas, but last to 4th. Yes this year brought us back to earth but to already give up on next year?? I'll take my so called blind optimism into 2012.
