Before the game I just hoped win or lose, we could play like we were worthy contenders. With that clinical display on the red hot dogs the boys showed the footy world they are properly forken good. I know it'll shut up the cocky bulldog supporter at work. He was certain they'd just roll over us. Told him their pretty boys they hadn't faced the heat. Can't wait to see him. Winning 9 games out've 10 sure makes marching into work monday morning alot easier.

He gets his hands on everything. Needs to hold a couple for a confidence boost.

Tough gig. I do that but find I'm just as likely to exchange barbs with one of our own "supporters" who continually bag and hate our players. Usually those who do it at the top of their lungs.

I had a dose of MFCSS last night. With our knack of running into clubs who dominated their eras in Grand Finals. Hawthorn in the late 80's and Essendon in 2000 Had a premonition of us running into Richmond in this years. A team which has won 3 of the last 4. I don't care how they're going ATM. That dragon will take some slaying.

If that's the case I'd suggest Ed chose the location of his castle poorly. I do know a couple of blokes that travel back and forth from work for an hr each way and don't mind it. They like to wind down after work they say. But they're in the bush on country roads. Not the rat race you're dealing with down there.

Seeing were on top of the ladder we should be able to do what we want like all ladder leaders that have proceeded us.

I've been noticing another variant to this. The other day I saw one of our players (possibly Pickett) tackled to the ground by one of the opposition and the next 2 players to pile on and keep the ball locked in were ours. I know the ball was in our forward line but .... Sheesh.

Yeah, can't remember who 'cause I don't really give a fork but I'm sure we have a bunch of scalps. There was often opposition upheaval after loses to us.
