GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
He isn't one for the flashy stuff but he rarely makes mistakes. Vandenberg might disagree though ?

Was listening to the radio when Ugle-Hagan took a mark and kicked his 1st goal. Commentators went off their heads about how spectacular the mark was. How high, all jump blah, blah, blah. So to the video tape I went. Geez, they carp on. https://www.afl.com.au/video/649173/jamarra-off-the-mark-with-cracking-set-shot?videoId=649173&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1626505480001

He took a couple big marks early in the 1st Grand Final win. Missed the shots but he was huge getting them going. Earned abit of my respect that game.

Meh. Though they might've helped us hold top 4 I'd love to see them free fall back to the bottom of the ladder. And stay there. With Essendon. And Collingwood. And Geelong. And Hawthorn. And the Eagles. Oh ... And Carlton.

And FWIW, I don't care who wins but both Zorko and Short need to get a wriggle on for my Supercoach side.

Was disappointed we didn't make a play for him when Carlton put him up for grabs.

OPPOSITION WATCH: What They're Saying at Waverley Park
The calibre of Hawthorn supporters. This fool got a clip after smacking a Melbourne supporters drink from his hand after getting done a couple years back. Then cried "Poor innocent me." to the media.

- How do Bulldogs do it?
The reason they let the throws go is cause the AFL want to keep the ball moving. They hate the congestion and if they have to let the odd throw out into space to allow that to happen .... So be it. Similar to the old days when there were a series of ball ups and nothing moving. The umps would pull a free kick out've their backsides to get the ball moving.- NON MFC: Rd 17 2021
Got a bunch of mad Tiger supporters at work who magically started appearing out of the woodwork around that time. Been telling me all year that you don't win flags in may/june/july as they smugly expected their train to start rolling towards another flag in september. Turns out you might not win them then but you can certainly lose 'em. Funnily enough I haven't heard a peep for the last month. One gave me the Melbourne team picture from the herald sun along with a smartarse comment before the season started. I hung it straight up over the table he sits at for lunch and it's still there mocking him now. Also have a niece who had been a Melbourne supporter all her life who got a new richmond supporting boyfriend around that time and decided to change teams. Turns out she's now such a mad tiger she sports a pair of skanky Richmond premiership tatts. Not that it's any great surprise. She has a string of dumb decisions to her name. Might not be entirely her fault as both her parents are morons.- NON MFC: Rd 17 2021
Tell that to Ross Lyon.- How do Bulldogs do it?
I'd like the umpires to call frees that have always been in the game and be consistent with those. You shouldn't be able to throw it. Kicks need to travel more than 15m. Push in the back needs to be paid. Holding the man while h'es leading the race for the ball should be called. A tackled player shouldn't be able to be spun 405deg before being called for holding the ball. Blokes diving into tackles for head high contact should get told to play on. A player shouldn't be able to waltz around the man on the mark who is being to "STAND" etc, etc. The list goes on. The umpiring as a whole is deplorable these days.- How do Bulldogs do it?
Nah. I only watch our games these days so only see the opposition then. Might see a qr or 2 of some. Might watch some highlights of others. Don't really like the way the game is played or umpired anymore to be honest. Alot of dodgy stuff gets ignored, sick of advantages the big dollar clubs get, the biased draw etc, etc.- How do Bulldogs do it?
If any-one gets away with extremely short passes it's us I reckon. If I was an opposition supporter I wouldn't be happy with some of the passes we've gotten away with. But seeing I'm not I just sit quietly and yell at opposition short passes. I also feel they are more likely to be allowed if they're kicked backwards or the result of a turnover.- Coach with Aging Team Wants Shorter Quarters

Gawd, we've been shockingly bad over the years with our seasons decending into complete garbage. Yeah, we're going ok ATM but fork. How quickly we forget.- NON MFC: Rd 17 2021
When the dogs won their flag Stringer and Libba turned up for a school clinic up here in the bush during the following pre-season. Anyway, I asked if I could take a pic while my mate who is a mad bulldog supporter went over to shake his hand. Stringer blew him off and couldn't even look him in the eye. I knew there and then the bloke was a total [censored]. - How do Bulldogs do it?
