Different playing styles but good ordinary suits them both. Yeah, yeah Jones has been a warrior who was the grunt in our midfield when we had no-one else. He did his best but was never a star. His claim to fame is that he never left. And why would he. Would have been one of the better paid fish in a crappy little pond.

If that was the case Toby Greene should have got off last week as the "precedent" was set by Fritta getting off his elbow fend. But Greene did fend Dangerfield so the "Thou shall not touch Dangerfield." precedent overrides it.

Max Gawn and Chris Connolly on The Front Bar
This gives me the sheets. We were only doing what half a dozen clubs had done before us without issue from the media or AFL. If we didn't tank I would have been fuming. What p1zzes me off most is that we were the ones hung out to dry by the hypocrites. The other clubs before us forgotten about.

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
As opposed to when I asked my old man about the 50's. "We'd just kick back and wait for 'em to kick 8 goals in the last qr."

When we took over the 3rd it was Jackson in the ruck and around the ball. He's a rippa.

C'mon Demons. Bury these fools early.

How do Bulldogs do it?
C'mon. The Bont is a big unit and takes some dragging down. 1st one he tried to stand in the tackle and was caught cold. 2nd one he tried to use his size to blast through with the ball and when it was dislodged in the tackle he threw his arms out claiming to be held without possession when he dropped it. Prior opportunity there both times. The umpiring has been bad for years but this year it's an absolute disgrace.

Did Brown always have that weird ball wobble when he ran in for the kick?

Dermott Brereton on Bayley Fritsch
I remember that as well. Demons had been travelling well and of course it happened to be Breretons 1st game back from a 6week suspension at VFL park. Before the bounce he was running like a peacock right around the forward line attracting the eyes of every-one in attendance. Got back to the goal square and took off straight up the middle of the ground. Hit the half forward line at top pace just as the umpire bounced the ball and took out Plattens tagger Chiron in the centre circle sparking a brawl. Theatre of the like you don't see from the game anymore. Grinter and co spent the 1st qr trying to even up gifting Brereton a couple frees from high shots which resulted in goals. Dunstall also cut loose and the game was pretty much over by the end of the qr. Was the earliest I've ever left a game which was not long after half time.

Make no mistake. Fritta's sneaky mean. The forearm wasn't an accident and neither was the essendon fella into the goal post. I particularly enjoyed that one and watching him slink away like nothing happened.

Who the hell is our goal kicking coach!?
Which is why he often takes the kicks from side on or looks to play on regardless of the distance or angle. That tactic shows lack of confidence IMO.

Who the hell is our goal kicking coach!?
I remember watching Sydney go through their pre-match warm up a few years ago. Noticed the intensity and professionalism they did it with. Had a look at our blokes who were casually trotting around having a few shots at goal. When the the game started Sydney played liked they warmed up and smashed us from the bounce.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Often the only value is the ball heads 50m in our direction as opposed to the other direction.
