  1. Ho hum .... Had our opportunities but blew it late with poor disposal of course. Happy we made a game of it though.
  2. Now don't let them #$%^&*& reply.
  3. Need some Kozzie Petracca magic.
  4. Hmmnnn ..... Frustrating.
  5. What a load of sheet. This is forken BS
  6. Righto. Don't let them reply.
  7. I don't get it. He was moving away from the mark
  8. If he was clean he'd be far more magic.
  9. "And he wastes it."
  10. That'll be the difference. We fumble round and collingwood make you pay.
  11. Standard operating procedure. Also fumbly at crucial times. Gotta clean right up if we gonna do this.
  12. Little wonder JVR struggles. At least put it to his advantage FFS.
  13. I don't usually whine about the umps. But the *&^%$# umps.
  14. Yeah Strop.
  15. Great pressure. Hunt those %$^#@
  16. Thats the way Sparrow.
  17. Let's do this sheet Demons. Hopeful we bring it but got the fishin' rods rigged up for some serenity if it gets ugly.
  18. Good onya Danners. What a legend.
  19. Yep .... Classic Jacko.
  20. Yeah, that game drove me crazy. It wasn't just Long. We allowed the resident Essendon thug Wallace run around belting our youngest players in the 1st qtr and did nothing. We all knew what they'd do as they'd been doing it for 15yrs and our players seemed surprised. Insipid response.
  21. Hughes wasn't dirty but here he is letting BT know what's up. Quickly followed by some of Grinters choir boy antics. https://youtu.be/OWhy2-aZCkU?t=262
  22. I watched the Pies dismantle the Dawks last week. They were impressive. Real impressive. Yeah we can win it no doubt. But everything has to go right. Need to play 4qtrs, our guns need to fire and take our opportunities. Choke in front of goal like usual and we're doomed ..... DOOMED I tell ya.
  23. Back then you'd have to fight fire with fire and Grinter was our fire during that era and we loved him for it. I remember one day out at Waverly and Brereton cleaned up Dean Chiron at the opening bounce. It was Grinter who had him looking over his shoulder as he was the only player we had that Brereton was intimidated by. But here's a few biffs and bumps from our choir boys back in the day. https://youtu.be/OWhy2-aZCkU?t=1
  24. I'll always remember what my sister declared after we went out in straight sets in '23. "We just didn't kick enough points." This has been an ongoing issue of ours for years and another saying comes to mind. "You can't make strawberry jam from pig poo no matter how much sugar you use." It's not only getting the ball through the big sticks that's a concern it's also the field kicking. We've obviously got plenty of players who can get the ball. Just not near enough who can kick the ball. I'm certain Goodwin knows this which is why the game plan he uses is to just get it inside 50 as often as we can, lock it in for as long as we can and hope we can scramble enough through the big posts from there.
  25. Never seen that Boo Koo before but that was a great kick.
