I agree 100%. Bruce has been well paid for a number of years, he's leaving for money and the offer of a 2 year deal. So regardless of form/injury he'll play against us for the next 2 years. So much for backing himself and producing in 2011 thereby getting another year with us. You have to question whether he ever played for the jumper. It's not like he hasn't been earning good coin for a number of years - he obviously wasn't committed to the dream of a Melbourne premiership, because he's [censored] off any chance of playing in one with us. I'll be remembering the next premiership group in years to come, not a player who left for money.

I reckon Trapper is a good fit at St.Kilda and if they were 2 draft him as a mature age rookie he could do a Stewie Dew.

I agree Lambchop will never coach, just like there once was a push for Gerard Healey. Both r 2 entrenched and well paid in the media to come on board as a head coach. But we can dream, maybe Todd Viney some time in the future.

Every side needs one/2 players with the x factor and Liam & Aussie both provide have it. We must insure both are sensibly managed and can get on the park.

I reckon as weak as Johnson has been he's got to be better than Hale. I reckon they'd be better off taking another young kid than paying $400,000 a year to someone who has hardly set the world on fire. It reminds me of when we gave up pick 20 in a strong draft to get that spudnik Ben I can't kick over a jam tin Holland.

I remember being quite annoyed that they let that opportunity go. We've always hung on to serviceable players too long and not traded them when we could of. I thought they should have tried to offload Darren Bennett instead of letting that op go by and for him to go on and become an NFL punter for no compensation. So I'm all for trading players who aren't going to help us win a premiership.

I agree, just because you've been a great/successful player doesn't necesarily mean you'll be a great/successful coach. If that were so expect to see Buckley, Voss and then Hird win flags in the next couple of years. Just get every club's champion player to coach their team and then they can take it in turns to deliver the goods providing some of them can get 16 year contracts.....

While I'm no fan of Warnock, trading him for Kosi is a no. He has no awareness and I don't see the point in going after him when we've just delisted Bell another player with no awareness. Granted Kosi is a tall but hasn't performed for aeons. I'd still consider other offers though....

David Hale is not a good option just more dead wood.
