Judds grandmother will be on our list before TJ

I loved Trapper as a player, amazingly skilled and a deadly kick. But god he was frustrating. Ripper bloke, still have a training jumper he gave me of his one day that I met him, went out of his way to have a chat and sign any demon gear I had on me at the time. Favorite memories of him are the final against Adelaide, and his 2 goals against Essendon in the elimination final from outside 50 on the boundary (one the result of Wreckers demolition job on Hird). Wearing a beard or not he wasn't as professional as we would have liked, the beard made no impact on that. He can look how he wants to look, your looks have zero impact on your footy.
-
He isn't a high flying executive, what does having a beard have anything to do with his professionalism?

Herald sun has the following info... 1-3 year players: November 3 4+ year players: November 8
-
Fox need 4 games dont they? And they wont get Thursday or Friday, so it would have to be that game just looking at the scenario.
-
Craig Smoker. 16 games in 1998 with a bag of 4 in Round 3 in a close match against Brisbane. Was too small and didnt have enough tricks, but could kick a goal. Last year he was playing for West Perth - not sure about 2010.

Crawford played on one year deals. If it's alright for a brownlow medallist, I can't see why it shouldn't be alright for Bruce.
-
Mr Johnson, where were you when the logo was released? Why has it taken you so long to realise you don't like it?

I refuse to accept the opinion of somebody who calls our premiership a championship
-
Im going to just pretend you are joking...
-
I would bloody hope not, considering he is a forward!

Reality is how something appears to a given individual, we all have a different take on reality. Scotts reality, and one I agree with, is that the cats have an amazing list still with 13 all australians, whilst also having a distinct home ground advantage that most don't share. They will blood kids, but a handful will be good kids. Your reality is that their period of success is over, due to personnel loss and other teams catching up and surpassing them, being only Collingwood at this stage. A change is what the doctor ordered, and my reality is that they are still one of the best in it.

I think he was trying to say that Flower was above elite. Dead set legend VS Elite.
-
No he said he would think about retiring if he couldn't get a trade to collingwood.
-
Haha just going on past tweets HT - wasn't surprised that he was totally off the mark. Great decision by Geelong in my opinion. A fresh face who has achieved arguably more than any player on their list (premiership wise). A lot of respect will need to be earned from this bloke I reckon, the Cats stars wont be able to go by their reputation anymore.

From 89 to 92...something tells me he is 89.

There are also telephones I believe
-
Yeah I know mate, I would take Scott in a second if he is interested.
-
Yeah I saw that too. But its not really going out on a limb. People were calling it days after Thompson left. I didnt mean this tweet, because I think it will happen. There have just been so many others that have been way off the mark.
-
Zero chance of that happening. I dont think Lyon will ever coach. He is back at the club already, we dont need to bring back all ex players in a coaching role. It is already good seeing the numbers that Jimmy and Co have brought back to the club. They have really done a great job at re-uniting the old Dees. HT - Spyandsource is a dud.

Here is the AFL websites take on what we might need. This time of year will never be the same on the AFL website without Matt Burgan's knowledge of the draft picks. But geez we are lucky we have him! This was put together by 'staff reporters' - so most likely the work experience kid. MELBOURNE NAB AFL Draft selections: 12, 32, 49, 52, 83 Delistings and retirements: Daniel Bell, Kyle Cheney (Hawthorn), James McDonald, Brad Miller Additions: Nil Approach: The Dees are well stocked on tall defenders and midfielders but may be looking at gaining a mid-sized or tall forward to complement Jack Watts and Liam Jurrah. They could also use a player of equivalent size and pace at the other end of the ground to take on mid-sized opposition forwards. Dream selection: At 187cm, Kieran Harper looks to have potential as a dangerous mid-sized forward. He is classy and can break open games. At this stage he looks like falling somewhere between 10-15 and will be strongly considered for Melbourne's first pick. A terrible knowledge of our list! I would have hardly thought we would have needed mid-sized forwards. We all know we need a tall forward, but mid sized? Work experience kid hasn't heard of Green, Petterd, Bate or Dunn.

6 votes from 2 games against Collingwood this year. We haven't really played in any big games (finals) in the past few years, so thats a bit rough.
-
Jason Cloke. You did mean never play on a man as a loose defender all year and not have to be accountable, didnt you?
-
I would prefer Newton. Or Danny Hughes. Or anyone.
