GAMEDAY: Rd 23 vs Geelong
it's annoying that it's frequently Langdon that has to deliver the final inside 50. Both our wingers aren't really A Grade in that area. We're doing well, it's just our skills we need to clean up.

Tommy Sparrow
Seems to be good at getting his hands on it at centre bounces, more than Jordan was anyway. Just needs to build confidence with his decisions and disposal.

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
He's too slow to play in the middle for more than a cameo now - he can't react / change direction fast enough. It would be offset if he had elite skills but he turns over handballs frequently too.

What is clayton's thought process. Wide to Spargo in the pocket? We have to clean this up. Fritta my man

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
this is the most disgusting kicking game around the ground I've seen all year. We're kidding ourselves if we play like this in a couple of weeks.

Brayshaw is so far off the pace it's not funny. He has to be under threat of losing his place, you can clearly see he's not switched on, just drifting around making no impact either way. He's our lowest ranked player by a mile. Lingers on the other wing busting his gut with 21 already.

Surely Nathan Jones could offer more than Brayshaw?

He's having a bad one. Goes when he shouldn't and doesn't go when he should.

Weird kick by Oliver to Pickett. Really sloppy skills and decisions all over the ground. Crows just happen to be worse. And another shocking kick from Oliver straight our of boundf Inside 50 work has been deplorable, but that's standard for us.

Everyone can see it Goody. Might want to do something about Seedsman?

Jackson's set shots have improved out of sight in the last half of the season. Really impressive.

Is this a joke? Where is the manning up? We could be 5 goals down.

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
TWICE now Oliver just ambling back with no intensity instead of chasing his man, resulting in 2 shots at goal. So much for wanting to be the best teammate he can be. This is the stuff that ends up spreading through the whole team. *EDIT : 3 times now

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
I never watch TV games until I know the result, due to the stress. Checked the score, we were miles in front and I thought here we go, nice watch the last 15 minutes of live footy. Won't be doing that again, Jesus Christ.

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 v Gold Coast Part 2
It's actually a joke. You think he'd learn at some point. Going head to head with Harmes for the world record of being caught with the ball ?

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 v Gold Coast Part 2
Great to be up, but horrible last 10 minutes with a ridiculous amount of possession that really sums up the Dee's broader issues: - Getting ahead of ourselves and being our own worst enemy - not composing ourselves heading inside 50 - trying to do too much (Viney consistent offender) - Missing EASY goals again... at least 4 easy shots in that period each missed by like 20 metres, WTF guys? Any danger we can compose ourselves and play percentage football?

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
Can we bring Bowey in for Brayshaw yet?

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
I don't know who is a less convincing kick for goal, Jackson or Oliver. Will cost us finals, our sh*tty kicking.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Pathetic, fumbly, loose, undisciplined and unaccountable football. So many stupid frees given away. More weak kicking for goal as per every week. The amount of Hawks standing on their own all game was ridiculous. Blokes not manning the mark correctly, not chasing hard, not putting pressure on the kick outs and letting them waltz out. Played ONE good quarter then sh%t ourselves under pressure, how are we going to handle the heat of a final? Can't ever just sit down and enjoy a game watching these guys, it's just a lottery with no consistency. I now just watch the first half then turn it off and wait for the result later, it's a lot of anxiety I can remove from my life. WHY CAN'T WE BEAT SH#TTY TEAMS

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
You don't know that. To me it looked exactly the same as the last couple of games he played for us. Couldn't time his runs to the drop zone, couldn't get separation due to pace, flailed around a bit with one arm up and failed to bring it to ground as much as he should. No goals. Not the worst but really no better than Weideman's average game return, but people will see what they want to see.

100% agree re JJ's tackling, they're bang on, and I've noticed his handballing is decisive and accurate. Good long kick on him too.

Petty is on fire. Been really impressed with him, great urgency tonight and timing has been perfect.

FFS. Petracca is at a point where he just needs to handball to someone running past every time he gets it. His kicking is absolute poison at the moment.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
We butchered so many inside 50's in the first quarter, Petracca in particular had a deplorable kicking game, Oliver not far behind him. GWS turned everything over that quarter and we crumbled at the crucial times. I saw too many players in self-preservation mode, not putting manic pressure on (Oliver back to his old ways), not putting hands up on the mark, not concentrating on tackles and consistently getting side stepped. There was no run and carry until it was too late. We just wanted to play boring, comfortable football, without risks. With zero reward. Then when we did take a bold kick, we'd fumble it or not take the first option. Pickett didn't look interested and must be dropped or rested unfortunately, Spargo couldn't get near it, ANB killed chains and Viney was a mess. For me though, Petracca and Oliver's games were the most disappointing. Their execution sucked the life out of us. Ben Brown wouldn't have made a difference today.. the way we kicked it, they would have swallowed him up easily. We didn't hav any ground players around anyway. Unfortunately we are still a poor skilled team who can't compose at key moments. If we don't bring A Grade Pressure, we're just an average unit that can easily be beaten by bottom 8 teams. FLATTTTT ?
