It's been shocking all weekend. Someone got the ball blatantly knocked out of his hands yesterday too and again no 50 to be seen. Really poor.

I believe our best strategy in the second half is to keep it away from Harmes at all costs.

Not many players have improved this year, but Trent Rivers has been VERY IMPRESSIVE So many brutally relentless will-to-win efforts in that last quarter - Gawn, Petracca, Melky, Viney, Smith (not you May).

Currently I would say he is the most overpaid player in the AFL based on output since his contract. If we signed him at the end of the year instead we might have saved $250K 😐

Kinda already checked out of this year after witnessing the trash of our last 20 or so games, so this doesn't hurt too much any more. If anything I believe we need a significant change - so a first big loss may be the thing that gets the wheels in motion. What I do know is that we are wasting generational talent and the players have no belief or confidence. 4 goals in a row now. Putrid.

WOW NEVER SAW THIS COMING. Geelong coming off their worst form in 20 years and they still massacred us. Fast moving towards another wasted season... Maybe in 5-7 years we'll get the forward efficiency situation sorted out? Cursed with a poorly skilled team unfortunately.. great to see classic Bumbling Brayshaw action out there.

People keep calling for JJ to have a permanent spot, but the reality is he's just not quick or dynamic enough to be included over others. Most teams have a slowish workhorse style accumulator - and they're almost always fringe players. They can't really play forward or back, and eventually get overlooked for someone with more pace when the whips are cracking. There's a limit to how many slower players we can carry at once. With Tomlinson, Brayshaw, Gawn, Lever, May, Grundy we are capped out. And JJ doesn't have height on his side. If I was him I'd get out asap and try his luck somewhere else at the end of the year.

Still think Petty will be there in September. Tomlinson's lack of athleticism costs him against the better forward lines.
