Quite a few here seem to have gotten sad! Disappointed as I am that Watts never showed us his best (which is very good) consistently he seems to have been told on more than one occasion watt was required of him and he failed to deliver: therefore to have retained him would have been seen (and rightly criticized) as double standards. I wish him well. Lever is a former high pick who has delivered - the critics seem to think we should have rolled the dice in the hope that Adelaide would crumble, but had they not we would have instead of getting a proven, young, quality player have ourselves rolled the dice on a draft pick.

Yeah....I am certain that the club would never have give that any thought at all ? -

Adelaide were, until now, my favorite interstate club and Tex my favorite non MFC leader. No longer - wasn’t Tex ranked amongst the bottom level for effectiveness in the GF. I was waiting for his leadership after half time but it never appeared. Flat track bullies? -
Is Balic on our list?

Pretty early to judge a bottom aged small forward - Jayden Hunt was also widely condemned as a "dud"for his first couple of years. Thankfully he has a year (at least) left to prove himself. -
Surely the top demand must be: The Darwin game be scheduled immediately before the bye for both teams involved (and the same for Cairns games if they still exist).

Is that the same Terry Wallet who set Tigers back about 10 years with his recruiting and list management coups?

It is indeed, though far more progress has been made in diagnosis and treatment than in Peter Crimmins' days

Very short memories by the hypocrite Crows.....now that our Scott Thompson has retired from their list. -

Valid point, but despite him being one of my favorites, I am becoming a big doubter of JKH’s ability physically to make the grade. I would just love to be proven wrong. -
But did we learn.....that is the question. One may lead a horse to water, but one cannot make it drink Or maybe partying in Bali, celebrating the “achievements” of the year is of a higher priority for some?

Or, alternatively, his foot may have recovered 100% Do you know otherwise? Does anyone here know? -

of course game plans can change over an off season (or even in a season) but I agree that Tom is a better "tall target" deep forward that Jesse Pick 18?? That is very insulting to primates Because he hardly spoke, and didn't ask endless inane questions -
I thought that we had determined NEVER again to trade with Collingwood - IF this is a genuine discussion, presumably he has some career ending injury well hidden away Must be Martin then!! Has risen to the challenge of dragging Richmond up from 9th to premiers, now wants to show how good he is by doing it again at another club. :-)))

Did Duhwayne use one of his many overused cliches: “this is the biggest moment of his life”?

How about Tippett for Watts as a straight swap?
monoccular replied to Dees2014's topic in Melbourne Demons
Plays like someone about to retire - it would be a bit like us trading on H this time last year (if only.....) -
IMO social media is a serious misnomer for anti-social media. If he continued to kick goals, probably little impact; but the data from 2017 v 2015-16 suggest otherwise.

Could not bring myself to watch that unrepentant narcissistic drug cheat have his name associated publicly with the great Norm Smith Was there a goodly amount and volume of booing? Was HWSNBN introduced by Gil as a martyred hero coming home?? -
I guess there are two sides to every story but OMG this sounds pretty awful as it has been told. As others have said though : (if as stated) perfect moral standards for the Druggies.

I thought that we had resolved - NEVER DEAL WITH COLLINGWOOD.

AFL / tribunal / MRP and integrity should never ever be used in the same sentence I heard Nathan Burke before the deliberations (or official ones anyway) on 774 referring to “our Trent”!! Conflict of interest / prejudging / protecting
