  1. With every passing day the second tier competition looks more ridiculous.
  2. It is just to hard to work out. I am taking the โ€œ let me know the result when the merry go round stopsโ€ and I will look at 2021 from there. It seems like the draw for next year will be a moving fiasco. It seems like the broadcast media now run the competition. Who actually employs Gill? And by the way Gill get a haircut and shave. On days like today it reminds me why my interest in AFL is sliding.
  3. We need to get public park land. No show in the short term.
  4. The MFC has decreed that it has to be in the G vacinity . Forget Port Melb it will never get looked at.
  5. It is really simple there are no votes in the MFC.
  6. But that would have been admitting fault!
  7. I would settle for that same results at the Dees for the last 22 years LDC.
  8. It would not surprise me LDC.
  9. For some time I have thought Trump the biggest [censored] going round. But No. It seems the Pies management now have that honour. How could they possibly ask for salary cap relief? This is of their own making pure and simple. At the time of the Grundy contract I was wondering how they could afford that in their salary cap. Even from the outside it looked strange.
  10. AF time to take a deep breath and go for a walk.
  11. Let's not forget that Collingwood, Dogs and St Kilda all only made it because we dropped games to easy beats in the final 3 rounds. I have doubts about WCE they bowed out of finals fairly easily.
  12. D17 I don't think it has anything do with all that. IMO they needed to shed $2+ million and looked at where best that could be achieved. Treloar was the big one and when his wife moved north that thought great he will follow her, here is our big chance and it blew up in their faces when he said no quite happy here. The others were just easy pickings. It was only after the event that they started making up excuses.
  13. I don't believe it is Buckley's problem. Other people would have been telling him we are sweet with salary cap then he gets told $2 million has to go! Add I reckon everyone in the pies camp was told no comment anyone including players concerned or you lose your job. I don't think he created the problem. Those that did have the explaining to do.
  14. The best part of the 2020 year chook!
  15. Excuse my cynicism LDC but this smells like giving Collingwood extra time to dump dollars and Essendon extra time to get Dunkley.
  16. Me too LH but why should we be surprised? It is AFL after all
  17. You would have to think this would affect future recruitment. My would you take a large money long deal offered by the Pies? Take a lesser deal some where else that has a lot better chance of being honoured. It is hard to believe that there are not a few players still there who would now be looking at options for 2022.
  18. 70 million voted for Trump!
  19. Plenty I hope.
  20. Pies vs bombers could be 15th vs 16th. In 2021
  21. The big thing is the pies get $1 million pa off their salary bill. Well perhaps only $800k. If you say 800k quickly it does not seem so much.
  22. Pies are desperate to get salary level down they don't care what the get in exchange for players. I would not want to be a pies player in the 25 plus range without a contract.
