I thought he was one of our best on Sunday admittedly the competition for Melbourne's best was not high. However he was working a long from goal on sunday so not sure we can make much out of that game re his goal kicking ability. I think he has been one of the bright spots for us so far this season. A large number of people on Demonland keep saying "give him a chance young guys take time to develop". Well I think he is developing and am quite prepared to keep him in the team. If we want to put in Juice then find another spot. Martin is earning his spot so far which is more than can be said for a few others.

I agree in all my years I cannot remember a worse quarter. In the last few years we have had games where we got belted but seldom anything as bad as that quarter and when we are supposed to be in an improving year. If we cannot complain now when can we?

Nasher most of what you say is correct however I would ask one question For all his apparent talent How many good games has Wona played for Melbourne in three years. I can remember 3 - 4. The rest have been a quarter here and there. Not saying he should not be added this week but I reckon he owes big time for the patience the FD has shown in him.

No problem with your additions but why are you so hard on Maric? The guy had an ordinary game first up after a good pre season. He then comes on as the sub 5 minutes before three quarter time when the game is all over. He did not cause the third quarter rout. Then out he goes! Why not some of the same attitude we give to Watts. I actually thought he was far from our worst in the last quarter Whats more he keeps his eyes open when going for marks.

I am a big Davey fan however he is a down hill skier. Very good when he has space but a good close checking opponent takes him out of the game.

And did you notice in the Hun photo he had is eyes closed! No wonder he does not take many.
