Interesting that most of the signatures are in pencil, very different times. 1956 is my birth year so it means just that bit more and is in pride of place in the lounge just above the TV. I often look up at it if I am watching a live Dee’s game. These posters are not meant to last 64 years and the signatures like me are slowly fading. The poster will go to the club after I kick off. Great that you have a 1964 poster as well, I have thought off and on about buying a reproduction one that occasionally come up for sale. I was at the game in 64. A lifetime of the 🔴🔵 No Regrets.

I was 8 years old and the youngest of 3. All the family are Melbourne supporters and everyone was at the game in 64. I can remember Ray Gabelich running into the open goal with minutes to go as my sister and grand father and l were sitting behind the goals in the old Southern Stand. Mum and my brother were sitting in the MCC area. Tears of disappointment turned to tears of joy when Neil Crompton kicked the winning goal with seconds to go. We are all waiting for our next flag. Mum is frail 95. So please hurry up MFC 😃 1964 was a great year for my family as we went to see the Beatles live at Festival Hall as well as a Melbourne Premiership that year. Great memories of special moments so long ago.

If it’s the decision of the NT Government not to allow the game to be played Friday night in the “Alice” do we get our $700K? If we played there, most likely there would be no crowd permitted to attend. If they agreed to a fly in fly out game in Alice Springs would we be contractually obligated to do it? Sydney is the most likely outcome. Get there local Dee’s Supporters.
