  1. Hibbo playing well but otherwise it is worrying signs early in defence. Even Tommo is looking very uncertain. Gonna need to find another gear or two to get it done today.
  2. Frosty is close to best on for us so far.
  3. Rivers is having a proper stinker.

Letā€™s go for 3 Brownlow votes this time Mitch.

    Absolute madness.

The rhetoric around Adelaide is starting to [censored] me. All the talk about how they were a certainty to beat us and are hot favourite for the flag. Anyone who watched us play them in the home and away will know that we destroyed them in that game. They were never in it. And kicking straight in the prelim wouldā€™ve had us in the game. I hope itā€™s nagging at the girls just as much.

Donā€™t like shaming a lack of knowledge, but not knowing who TISM is might be grounds for handing in your citizenship. On topic, I wouldā€™ve loved it no matter who it was. The fact it was Duckwood was, as Bruce would say, delicious.
  8. Two changes. Petty for May locked in and personally Iā€™d go Hibbo in for Rivers Rivers hasnā€™t been poor, although 11 touches at 54% doesnā€™t exactly jump off the page. Itā€™s more that Hibbo makes us a better side. Simple as that.
  9. And shout out to @Dee Zephyr
  10. Feel like Viney deserves more credit for this game. Shout out to @DeeSpencer and @The Swimming Dee for also having him BOG. It wasnā€™t just the fact he had more contested possessions and tackles than any other player on the ground. It was the moments they happened. Those knife edge moments where the Cats could have swung momentum. More often than not it felt like Viney was the one having none of it. Impossible not to have admiration for the bloke. To be playing with the enormous heart he does when many other professional sportsmen would have sooked it up. Heā€™s a gem. Thank god he plays for us.
  11. The thing with Hawkins is that he has a history of a short fuse. Itā€™s more likely it was accidental, but with him you can never be sure.

    6. Viney 5. Gawn 4. Lever 3. Petracca 2. Oliver 1. Fritsch HM: Langdon
  13. They tried their best to duck and elbow their way to a win but class won out. 4 zip baby!
  14. Your goal Cheatwood.
  15. How we are not 10 goals ahead I donā€™t know.
  16. This. Commentators ruling out the possibility of it being intentional are obviously unfamiliar with who Tom Hawkins is.
  17. May out. Sparrow in.
  18. Hawkins elbow to the head. Concussion test happening.
  19. lol suck it Selwood. Some of your own medicine.
  20. Fritta needs to get his head in the damn game.
  21. We really should get this done. Wet weather makes me nervous as we have a tendency not to play to the conditions. But surely weā€™ve learned that lesson by now. All part of our growth, maturity and insert other buzzword. The Gawn/Jackson split of ruck duties will be one to watch again. It worked well against the Giants with Gawn being a real presence going forward. Geelong will likely concede the taps much like the Lions did against Grundy so we need to be awake to that and make best use of the big man with the armband. Also interested in how Clarry handles a likely Oā€™Connor tag, as well as Season 2 Episode 4 of the Kozzie show. We play something remotely close to what weā€™re capable of and we go 4-0.

They are really teeing off on Grundy over there. Itā€™s amazing. Imagine these kind of posts being made about Gawn. ā€œAt what point is he traded for a 2nd rounder to get his utterly ridiculous salary off our books? Not even a joke now, completely serious discussion needs to be had. Beaten by a retired 35 year old ruck coach today whose body is held together with tapeā€ ā€œIt was a bad contract even when he playing well....ā€ ā€Grundy should offer to take a pay cut. Iā€™m serious. It would be the gesture of someone really invested in the club.ā€ ā€Send a message to this bloke!! Drop him and leave him there for a month. His efforts are weak as [censored], got his mega contract and switched off.ā€ ā€Give back the money coward. Guys that compete week in, week out like Mihocek and get paid peanuts because this greedy ******* drinks his own bathwater. Tarzan looking, Jane playing [censored].ā€ ā€Brodie is invested in himself , $$$$$$ Like i stated many moons ago, If i`m i the trenches, I don`t want him in my trench he is a pea heartā€

So apparently no Hurn = no Eagles. Theyā€™ve been a disaster down back.

The 1.9 scoreline is symptomatic of our year. We were good enough to be playing in the granny, just lacked that composure. Well done girls. Go again next year and plenty of goal kicking practice in the off season.
