  1. Garlo seriously. He's been dreadful since coming back.
  2. Need to switch Dawes' concrete hands with human hands at halftime.
  3. Amongst the wreckage, it's at least good to see JKH, Tapscott, Blease and Toumpas up the top of the stat sheet. It might not be total doom and gloom. The AFL listed players can only do so much if the Casey blokes are dragging their feet.
  4. Did it during Brown's speech too, his old teammate. I hope Rockliff makes it known what was actually said. Brad Scott couldn't be a more detestable bloke.
  5. We didn't cop the good north. They were ordinary. We were abysmal.
  6. Lions are placing last week's dismal effort into perspective.
  7. Pretty sure every time Vickery gets dropped to the seconds he has a day out as well. The jump from VFL to AFL for talls especially is huge. I'll be very surprised if Juice gets another go, but glad he's playing well and if he does get a second chance, good luck to him,
  8. Seems a few might have have chucked in the towel in terms of a future career at the MFC.
  9. Oh lord. Tell me you're kidding.
  10. I have a few, but most of them are censored on here.
  11. I will bite my tongue (or fingers) on the introduction of Nicho. In Roosy we trust.
  12. Demons are a concept by which we measure our pain.
  13. Beatles and JL solo, to put a finer point on it.
  14. Of those ins I'd be wrapped to see Barry get a gig. Met him once and he seemed genuinely shocked that I knew who he was. Really nice fella who was even more chuffed that I had named my Supercoach team after him (Dom Barrygnon FC). He asked if he was in the team. I said he'd need to get a few more games first, to which he laughed and agreed. Hopefully this week is the start.
  15. Watts will talk about the disappointment of last week and how the team is "looking to bounce back against the Doggies" Sam will make a couple of jokes about how crap Melbourne are/have been, with some chuckling from the audience. Garry will tell him to ease up. They will show some embarrassing photos of Watts as a kid Everyone except Garry will tip the Bulldogs There you go. You no longer have to watch it.
  16. I don't know the status of his negotiations but I would absolutely love Goldsack at the Dees.
  17. What does that have to do with how he performed on Petrie? It really was a very simple point. He didn't beat Petrie. That's it. He's beaten some decent opponents, and yes he's promising in that respect. I've never said any different. I am just less dismissive of his lack of skills. (Incidentally, I read very little into diplomatic comments from opposition)
  18. Garlo has too many runs on the board to be dropped, but he'd want things to turn soon. He will be his toughest critic right now I suspect.
  19. Once again, it was a simple counter point to the comments pointing to Petrie's one goal as evidence that T Mac beat him.
  20. Out: McKenzie (susp), Salem, Riley In: Michie, Blease, JKH (sub)

  22. Granted, but it is a clear overstatement to say that T Mac "beat" Petrie. That's the point I was making. Some posters might be comfortable in placing ALL their stock in McDonald and shout down anyone who dares questions it, like the OP has done here. At this stage I'm not comfortable. His horrible skills and decison making are not improving. They cost turnovers, momentum, and effectually, goals. Not putting a line through him by any means because in the lockdown role he has credits in the bank. I want to see him improve the other elements in his game more than anyone. But I'd also like to see another key defender being blooded.
  23. For the record, Petrie kicked 1.5 and took 11 marks. The only thing that prevented a bag was his inability to kick straight.
