Jones could retire with the most games and most best and fairests in our 150 year+ history. Amazing.

Agreed. Many of us say the same thing year after year and it doesn't happen BUT I'm saying it again.. he just has too much talent, smarts and athletic gifts for it not to come to fruition at some point. He turns 24 soon with 95 games - this is when he is supposed to be hitting his peak. It is of course no coincidence, as many have noted, that he finally looks like he has the body for it... of course, an improved structure of the side and a lift in general performance of the club will help it come to bear. After 7 years of development, I think we are going to start getting some serious return.

fantastic result IF nobody gets hurt on Friday we ALWAYS seem to be missing too many important players for round 1 and then we always lose looks like it might be different this year (exc Dawes of course)

tricky one it has to be said that Jetta was very close to being gone forever and there were very, very few words of protest written about it on Demonland. His mate Bennell was the same except he actually WAS chucked, much to the benefit of MethCoke Jamar is another one who was a horrific footballer for about 6 years before doing anything. I'm sure they have secondary type coaching staff (opposition analysts) that watch the tapes of every game and record all sorts of data, that gets collated in specialist software.. all so they know to a high degree of precision what the enemy is going to throw at us for the upcoming match. They'd also sit down with the players and run them through it, particularly if you are a tagger with a specific midfield job, they need to know how much time each bloke spends in the middle etc This is one of the many areas where you are behind the 8-ball if your footy department budget is less than your opponent.

It only took about 5 minutes actually (albeit only a half), I think I will be doing it more often.. just DL the files so you don't run them through the website.. use the time slider to quickly see when a score goes up 6 points.. jot down who's in the middle
