Well mate I am describing exactly what happened to me so yeah. You are correct I was asked questions, such as 'do you think you're depressed?' to which I answered 'yes'. Like I said, not a particularly scientific or thorough process.

When you go to a GP and tell them you might have depression, they ask you to fill out a questionnaire. It has a whopping 10 multi-choice questions on it. One of the questions is 'how often do you feel depressed' (I [censored] you not). So you take 3 seconds to answer the survey and guess what? you are diagnosed. It is a joke. It is about as scientific as a cave painting - and obviously it can very easily be manipulated to suit one's needs
