I am worried for Neville Jetta. Something must be seriously wrong to get a concussion and miss at least 4 weeks of footy. Clearly he is not passing whatever tests they are putting them through, which is a real concern when you are talking about a person's brain. You have to wonder what sort of damage and risk he is now exposed to for his long-term future. Horrible stuff.

I just can't be that dismissive. I've already excused them for the thumping that is going to occur. I have been very dirty on the way we have played the last 3 weeks but you have to face facts. At the risk of severe repetition - The team going into battle on Saturday is a shadow of what we are at our best. Any side would be hurting, but our lack of depth makes it a complete disaster. I'll just list all ELEVEN OUTS again for the fiftieth time this thread: Dawes, Trengove, Jetta, Tyson, Viney, Kent, Frost, Salem, JKH and Petracca. Swap out for Grimes, MJones, Pedersen, Fitzpatrick, Spencer, Toumpas, Riley, Bail Add to that our only real ruckman has unexpectedly just disappeared. Add to that the horrific current form of some our best known performers (Dunn, Howe, Vince etc) To expect this side to perform anywhere near competently is just a fool's game unfortunately. This season is almost a write-off in terms of us really being able to evaluate Roos and the foundation he is building. Very annoying.

in earlier times I might have suggested that Roosy has something secret tucked up his sleeve, but unfortunately these selection mysteries have generally ended up being just bad calls instead of shrewd coachmanship
