  1. Think you can go ahead and use your pen for that one.
  2. If you're trying to talk up Jamar's usefulness as a forward, I wouldn't be bringing up that particular game.
  3. This is what I'm thinking may happen. Clark as a forward/ruck Jamar as major ruck/resting FP Martin as a backman/ruck Surely that'll give us some sort of advantage at stoppages, as long as Jamar can teach the others the telepathy trick he has going with Moloney.
  4. Yet you'd be surprised how many people do it....
  5. Brutally hilarious, maybe.
  6. Well in this case, you can only have 18 bidders, ever, for ANY 'house', so I'm sure we'll see some of the same people at auction from time to time.
  7. Unless the people who buy this house also want the house that you really want, and forcing them to buy this one at an inflated price then means you get your preferred house on the cheap......
  8. GWS GC Adelaide Carlton Hawthorn Brisbane (possibly) Essendon (depending on what happens with Gumbleton)
  9. Exactly this. There would be at least 5 teams who would be rapt to have him, IMO, but it just so happens we have one of the best backlines in the league, led by Chip, who takes the spot that would otherwise be filled by Warnock.
  10. Sorry for that, old55. Serves me right for believing 'facts' from the Hun. :S
  11. We've got a mid-1st round pick, which would be 10 next year, and Adelaide only have an end of 1st round, and if the mid-1st round is activated, that is only pick 20. (Assuming priority picks are nixed)
  12. Just beat me to it, Redleg...
  13. Adelaide offered essentially the same thing, and look to get pick 14 in return. The mid-1st-rounder will be pick 10 in an upcoming draft.
  14. Plus apparently they want a pre-listed player. Wouldn't be surprised if the recruiters don't want Crouch, with Viney to join next year. Surely our offer would trump that.
  15. Really? Gibson yes, Maxwell no. Maxwell may have leadership qualities, but plays fairly ordinarily in a backline that is hardly ever under siege. And given Warnock's experience with Melbourne 2007-2009.........Perfect fit IMO.
  16. I wouldn't worry about banging your head against that particular wall.
  17. Surely it'd only paint us as a club not to be trusted when it comes to rubbish AFL concessions to the Blacktown Gnats? I'd imagine that most clubs wouldn't be too disappointed to have that image.....
  18. And what would be their recourse if we turned around and took O'Meara anyway? Surely that guarantee wouldn't be specified in the trade, it'd just be an understanding between MFC and GWS, and as far as I'm concerned, we need to stab them in the back as much as possible.
  19. Yes it is. I wouldn't even bother.
  20. Thanks again, KC, for all your work through the season to keep us up-to-date with all the latest Scorpions news. Was there a special mention for Matthews? Best footy story of the year. Inspirational.
  21. As expected, no information. Well, back to work I suppose.
  22. I'd be very surprised if we found out any new information from his appearance.
  23. Sorry, I did know that......brain fart, obviously. :S
  24. I'm all for inflating the price for O'Meara, then backing off and accepting pick 2. Crouch+Viney should give some real hardness and skills in tight to our midfield next year.
