Was never a massive fan of Leigh Brown but enjoyed this!

Some of the worst updates to come out of the melbournefc website in a long time. They could have used anyone to write these reports.

I went down for about 25 minutes or so then got the call to go back to work. I too had a bit of trouble recognizing a few faces but as vanlo said there were a lot of the regulars missing today. I didn't see Frawley, Garland, Moloney, Petterd Rivers, Davey and Sylvia. Jamar ran laps at the start. He took off while bull and kept going at a good pace the whole time while Jurrah, Spencer and Strauss seemed to jog along at a slower pace. The only main drill I saw all of was the same drill that vanlo saw with the mids doing the contested work then when they won the ball out they'd pick the best forward option coming forward which more times than not it was either in Killa Watts' or Mitchy Clark's hands both looked good, Watts absolutely pantsed Sellar, made him look silly. I'm not sold on Sellar to be honest but we'll see. Clark, Watts and Howey stood out the most with the set shots. I can't remember them missing one. The thing I found interesting was Sammy Blease training with the forwards always around the feet of Clarky. He looked good when they were doing snap shots for goal on either foot. His set shot wasn't as great with one almost rolling along the ground from about 30 out directly in front! Can't really give to much more as the boss wasn't rapt when he heard I was at Melbourne training! Ha ha.

do they not sometimes train indoors sometimes mate? and when i wrote that post i was getting thunder storms, was only asking so i dont waste my time driving there, thanks for ur input anyway mate good job

do they still train in the wet these days? sounds ridiculous but i wouldnt mind having a look and i dont have to work if it keeps raining, i dont wanna go down to GP and find out there having a kick on a indoor basketball court somewhere!!

and bring the season closer that would be great, id even settle for the NAB cup at this stage!!!

have to agree with ya mate, its a joke, there is no parking and if i wanna go by public transport (i know its not ridiculously far) i gotta walk from jolimont, yes it doesnt sound too bad but when u catch a train walk 15 mins find nothing u want the have to walk 15 mins back to wait for a train its a bit of a pain in the ass!!! sorry for the whinge!

Well done TTT in the wedding, I had the pleasure of meeting tappy In koh samui in October, as well as trenners n big maxy, absolute ripper blokes, I walked up and said g'day and that I was from Melbourne and the young fellas pretty much took me under the wing all introducing themselves (like I didn't know who they were) and then the beers and stupid dances followed!! Trenners is a bloody mature kid he didn't even look like mucking up while over there, don't know if I helped them with there preseason tho.... Tappy is in rehab and maxy is done for the year.... Even so had to be up there as one of the better nights of my life !!

i just loved the fact you could watch your young players too and see how there travelling, i like most here go off who got the best at casey and what other people who love there footy more then me dont get to see them actually play, playing local footy myself i struggle at times to get to melbourne games and unless casey are playing the northern bullants at preston on a sunday i have no hope of seeing them go at it

probably rather him as a forward coach than leigh brown.....

absolutely spot on the money there mate, he has a few too many and likes too show of to hes mates a bit, geez i dont see that down my footy club every saturday....

only just started reading this thread and got through one page and got annoyed lol its not really a cliche' & i dont know if someones already brought it up but i hate it on this site and other forums when ppl are talking about for lines, for example when some goes: just imagine the forward set up Petterd Watts Howe Jurrah Clark Davey and then follow on with thats scary good!!!

Bennel should have to change back to a high a high number as he was rubbish having said that would love to see #1 Howe #11 Mitch and blease #17, I no it's stupid but I hate bennel in 7 I love that number and haven't been able to enjoy it since Stevie Powell!!!!!
