The most pleasing thing to me from tonight was the performance of the kids in Spargo, Baker, Pickett and Rivers. I thought they all stepped up.

At one stage Melksham actually got out of the way of the GWS player with the ball instead of tackling him.

Freo are good enough to beat the Bulldogs

Believe it or not we can still make finals if Bulldogs and GWS lose their last two and we win . Mostly out of our control, and improbable, but if they can somehow find some heart, there may still be a chance to redeem themselves. Not that I’m holding out any hope or anything.
