I'd say MFC haven't lost anything now, with the Mclean deal. Luke Ball is the same type of player and picking him with 11, would be going backwards IMO.

There seems to be alot of hype about MFC taking Ball, in the media. If MFC don't take Ball, i don't think he'll make it to collingwood at pick 30 anyway. I'm over Ball.................. only 14 days to go till people stop talking about Ball!

Weakened draft compared to what? 2010 and 2011 National draft will be far weaker.. Pick 34 in this draft could be better than MFC second pick in 2010 or 2011, MFC must use these picks.

MFC are on the rise. It would be nice to get Ball, but that's all. MFC do not need him, and in 2/3 years (IMHO) he will find it tough to get a game. I'm over getting Ball.......Stuff him! If Mitch Thorp can gel in to the team, he would be a better option for MFC in the psd. Then with pick 11, MFC could draft Tapscott (Trengove's best mate). Could be great to have mates learn AFL together, might make the transition alot easier.

Just watched the 2008 Fremantle vs Melbourne, great come back. I'd forgotten about how damaging Aussie is. Can't wait to see him roving to Jurrah, in the Foward 50.

Mckenzie had a real spark about him, could be a solid player in a couple of years. If MFC get Luke Ball, IMO he'll strugle to get a game in 2/3 years. Mclean would of had the same trouble, with the youngstars coming though.

Agree. To much aerial ability for small's, to much speed for tall's. It's hard to see how he will be stopped.

If Butcher or Talia don't make it to pick 11, should MFC take the best player at that pick or a KPP? Tapscott is hard at the ball and has a great booming kick. Also herd somewhere that he is good mates with Trengove, could be good to have them in the same team. other than Butcher and Talia, is there another KPP worthy of pick 11?

I used to go to alot of fitzroy games, with my paper-boy buddy's. I'm all ways melbourne but, it only cost $1.20 for me to get in to princess park.
