I don't think the "Premium" option would have appeared for you if your barcodes weren't considered Premium. Didn't come up for me when I tried with my kids memberships.

You took yours down after last year's GF already?

This is the answer. Don't worry about all the other stuff.

Does a club have to prove they can actually accommodate a co tract within their cap when matching a FA offer? Or can the Pies say "we'll match" to force a trade without actually having the space in the cap?
-
And he was clearly the instigator from the first bounce despite what he wants you to believe. Perhaps some Melbourne players did get stuck into him but not before he decided to get into push and shoves and headlocks first. World class [censored].
-
Exactly, similar to what Geelong got for Kelly and similar to what they paid for Dangerfield. I'm not saying I'll be happy with it but the realist says we will be getting 2x picks in the teens perhaps an ok player and probably something going back to the Dockers.

They definitely compress the video file once it goes to "replay" - if you watch the game the next day or so with the full prematch/halftime etc it should be better quality but once it is a replay and the video begins at the start of the match the quality is reduced.
-
That never happens. Did Tim Kelly go to Freo when they had the better picks? What did GWS get for Jeremy Cameron? We are not going to hold Jackson to ransom as much as some supporters would like it to happen. If he nominates Freo he will get there and we will have to take their mid-teens pick, possibly with their next 1st rounder and hope they fall down the ladder next year. Or we may take them then look to trade up.

There was some blurry behind the goals footage which didn't show much Edit see Demonlands post at the top of this page. Jon Ralph twitter.

Yes but Freo don't have pick 2 or pick 5. I'd prepare to be disappointed as frustrating as it will be.
-
Not just their flooding but their short passing game chipping through our zone which worked against us earlier in the year as well as against Freo later in the year.

Yep I heard that when listening to the 2nd quarter on the radio - umpire clearly warned him to keep his knee down. It's happened multiple times before let's see if he listens and if the AFL do anything about it.
-
Serial offender! Did it multiple times on Queen's Bday and again when we played them a few weeks ago. That is a suspension every day of the week, unduly rough play to try and knee an opponent in the ribs who is running at the footy. He is not jumping at the footy he is blatantly trying to knee his opponent to injured them. Absolute [censored], Collingwood seem full of them.

To give the benefit of the doubt, this was only my reading of the interview. Has anyone else listened to it yet? Maybe she just used the wrong words when explaining it - she did say she discusses the issue with Pert daily - but to say that they both want to at least have the "answer" to the home base by the end of their terms was only one way to read it for me. If they're still only talking about the answer to the location then they are basically at square one. I wouldn't want to destabilise the board during this period of onfield success - I think we all know onfield success cannot happen with off-field destabilisation - but this board has hung their legacy on getting a home base setup and if they don't it will be a big mark against them despite the premiership(s?).
-
Listening to Kate Roffey on the Debrief podcast has certainly dampened my hopes about getting something done any time soon. She basically said Pert and herself are committed to finding the "answer" to the home base location before ending their terms. So they haven't even got agreement on where it should be yet let alone agreement on funding. Sounds like it is still years away - if it ever happens ☹️

It's the MCCs fault, they should just open up all seats to reserved seating, that way people could reserve the seats they actually want without going through the charade.
-
A lot of MCC members would have reserved a seat on level 4 to make sure they get a ticket just in case but they'll walk down to sit on level 1 or 2 on the night.
-
Makes more sense

How can Geel/Coll have only sold 62k when there are no more tickets left to purchase (in either Gen Public or AFL Members at least)? Has to be wrong.
-
I know it sucks but a premium membership is more expensive because it gives you a higher access to home and away games (ie reserved seating area) and a GF guarantee for the higher premium memberships. It does not guarantee access to premium seats for other finals or even guarantee you will get in to weeks 1-3 of finals. dworship mentioned there was an option for "Melbourne Premium membership" allocations which I gather had better seats (level N) but there is no guarantee these would not be sold out. The AFL should stop people buying 10 tickets with one membership that is ridiculous. I can understand having access to one other ticket but 10? You can ring the club and ask them to complain on your behalf but it will likely fall on deaf ears. The AFL just don't give a crap.
-
Probably have to contact the club or login to your Melbourne membership account? Hmm I just logged into my Melbourne FC account and the space where there should be a barcode is blank. Will have to contact the club I guess.
-
Fair enough, I assumed it was sold out as those bays were unavailable to select tickets from. So they are selling level Q bay by bay and keeping the unsold ones for walk-ups then I assume?
-
You can but not with the AFL members barcode - you need your MFC barcode which is different but the MFC don't email those to us. I get an email from the MFC with my kids barcodes because they are junior MFC members but never get one for my membership. AFL membership on Facebook was suggesting this to Geelong and Collingwood support members who missed out on tickets only problem was the club members tickets went on sale before the AFL members ones so by the time they realised they'd missed out on AFL membership tickets the club members were basically sold out or only tickets were single seats in the nosebleeds.
-
AFL members is basically sold out - there's a few seats in one bay on level 4 and a handful of single seats on level 1. Of course as daisycutter said it depends on whether these tickets have actually been bought and its not just a ticketek stuff up but I don't think so. Plenty of neutral AFL members go along to watch finals no matter who is playing or give their barcodes to friends who support the competing club's as the tickets are cheaper (I only had to pay a booking fee of $21 a seat instead of $80-$90 each).

That's what I'm worried about if it gets to that in a Prelim though hopefully they aren't smart enough to figure it out! Hopefully everyone can try not to make it known that that is an option.
