  1. Exactly - disappointing to lose but not worth demanding resignations and crying that the teams no good etc
  2. Yeah Hannan was fantastic, stood strong in the contests and more the most of his opportunities. Great to see, hopefully he backs it up over the next couple of weeks.
  3. Completely forgot about Hulett is he injured?
  4. Some of you people seem to have the mentality that this is a training drill and MFC just needs to turn up and apply ourselves to get the result. We do have to play against an opponent who aren't just going to let us get away with doing things solely on our terms.
  5. I know people ridicule it but that is just another example of a completely biased day of umpiring. It was clear and blatant favouritism and the umpires should be investigated by the AFLs integrity unit and have their finances/betting accounts reviewed.
  6. I'd rather look like a whinger than a yellow belly
  7. Not only saying they shouldn't be suspended but that they were retaliating to OUR roughouse tactics
  8. I just hope from now on our players don't hesitate throwing their fists around (as long as they don't go above the neck or if they do make sure they're touching the opponent's jumper.
  9. Of course. TMac out of defence is a massive loss and our KPF stocks are currently non existent. That doesn't excuse the pathetic umpiring display though. Anyone watching for the first time would assume there was some corruption going on.
  10. I rarely like to complain about the umps (as in effecting the outcome of a game) but they were nothing short of pathetic yesterday.
  11. Yep it's an MFC thing, the club is doomed, doomed I tell you!!
  12. Sometimes appeasing the supporters is necessary. It can help galvanise the club and create a united front
  13. 100% the silence from the club is frustrating
  14. Here here
  15. Unfortunately when you're beholden to the AFL that's the way it goes
  16. Cotchin did similar to Viney a few weeks ago and was lauded for igniting his team
  17. Thompson got a week in round 2 for a similar incident but probably with more force
  18. They did that last year too and we reeled them back in. Games are played over 4 quarters.
  19. I thought Watts had been floated previously (even last year?) and there were no bites
  20. What do you suggest the Match Committee do this week if you think Oscar should be dropped?
  21. Didn't Hurley recommit to the Bombers last year? Pretty sure he's tied up
  22. That's because you've got Jack Watts blinkers on where any negative comment directed towards him is somehow evidence of him being targeted or scapegoated
  23. Supporters need a focus to direct their anger/frustration and other negative emotions towards, it's easier than critical analysis. It's like the 2 minutes if hate against Goldstein in 1984, visceral projection.
  24. He wasn't tall/strong enough to just go 1:1 and wear him like a glove. He had to be smarter and try and read the play to make his own run at the ball.
