  1. Rubbish.
  2. [censored] them. Don't budge on the picks (27 is more than enough) and don't budge on the salary (this is really what they want I reckon). We can do without Grundy, they can't do with his salary on the books.
  3. How will the Pies be able to front load? Their cap is a mess, part of the reason they have had to offload Treloar and Grundy in the first place. I see GC held firm and got 5 for Rankine, let's see if the Demons have the balls of the Suns. Collingwood are dumping Grundy and his salary, if anything 27 is overs let alone a pick slide. 🤮
  4. Of course he did . Knee reco in round 21 is going to do that. I don't hate this.
  5. No idea but hopefully JVR

100%. I've thought for a few years that if you're building a team you need to build from the inside out. Building strong lines on both sides of the ball goes a hell of a way to building a great team. They are so under rated because most people don't see their work, the highlight reels are the QBs, WR, TE, RB, CB, S etc but it's the work in the trenches that allows these guys to flaunt their skill.
  7. I think her views are just as abhorrent as his however she is not the CEO which makes it a completely different situation.

Just as stupid as the Browns doing it at the start of the game. End up losing by 3. D'oh!! And how about that double doing FG attempt in London! Poor Saints fans haha

Great comeback yesterday but still not convinced. Would like to see it over half a season at least before declaring him a franchise QB. 2 INT yesterday and a couple of the completions in Q4 were down to great catches rather than great passes - would be nice if we had an O-line that wasn't crumbling at the seams though! Really like the look of Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner so far though, finally some decent playmakers on both sides of the ball. Haven't seen that since Revis/Holmes circa 2010. Hall and Davis have been good on offense too. Next few weeks will see whether we have improved or not though. Miami, at Green Bay, at Denver, New England and Buffalo before the bye. If we go any worse than 2-3 it will be disappointing. Jets are my team but I also keep an eye on Tennessee, Carolina and Jacksonville. Panthers seem destined for a top 3 pick but Henry has regained his pre-knee injury form and Jags are looking good so far. Was hoping they would upset Philly yesterday and they got off to a sizzling start but unfortunately not to be. Lawrence looks far better this year with competent coaching but needs to work on that ball security.
  11. Does he get a blue and gold headband with his new guernsey?
  12. Do you honestly believe club's allow players dictate which position they play? And that club's keep them there if it is not working out because it is a condition of a contract? Honestly??
  13. I was worried I'd been too abrupt with you mate, now I know I could've gone harder 😆
  14. Again, the club initiated this. The players did not seek this out, the club came to them. Obviously there is distrust in the AFL's ability to handle this. Rightly so considering the AFL's past.
  15. Which is why I said "IF" the allegations are true. If the allegations are true they are abhorrent and your post is trying to minimise the actions, stating "I'm not convinced Clarkson and Fagan have done much wrong here". We only have the allegations to go on at this stage in hand with the denial of those involved without anything specific so I'm not sure what else you have to go on.
  16. "Routinely advising certain living arrangements" vs demanding the person cut off all communication with family/partners, change their sim card so as to be uncontactable and move them in with a senior leader of the club. Oh and also denying that players family/partner communication with the player when they attempt to contact them through the club.
  17. Maybe if that family were the Manson family
  18. IF the allegations in the media are true it is sociopathic behaviour on their behalf and borderline criminal. Your post is a joke.
  19. Makes the decisions to leave out Jordon and Bowey at the pointy end of the year extremely interesting I saw Sparrow won the coaches award, no doubt that will set to guess wagging around here 🤣
  20. Kind of although the allegations are a little different in that Clarkson doesn't seem to have encouraged Mitchell and his partner to have an abortion once they found out they were pregnant only months after having their first child and didn't encourage Mitchell to leave his partner, swap the Sim from his phone, tell him to move in with an assistant coach and deny all contact between he and his partner. Of course this is assuming Mitchell's allegations are even true, at the moment they are just unsubstantiated allegations which the former coaches haven't had an opportunity to respond to and which don't appear to be supported by any evidence whatsoever. Merely hearsay at this stage, hopefully Clarksons lawyer can cross-examine Mitchell to get to the truth of the matter.
  21. I don't get this move from Hunt unless it's purely about contract length - did we offer him 1 year only? He was playing 1s pretty much all year and last year and I think he is going to struggle at the Eagles.
  22. I'm ashamed to admit it but sometimes, on very rare occasions, I have been known to act in a manner more befitting a Collingwood supporter.
